Very slow service and unfortunately not very good at listening.. had asked for a mixed regular donair and got beef. Decided to just deal with it. But then they threw on toppings I didnt ask for. I even tried to tell them not to put the other toppings on but they were to busy and distracted conversing to listen to what I had to say. Overall not a very good experience.

Don’t order falafel from here, they don’t have the right sauce for it, and the falafel tasted a month old . Very disappointed.
However the Donair and sweet sauce are excellent.

Born and raised in Halifax I know a good donair. Simply Donair has raised the bar for donair shops in the area. I really enjoy my experience with Simply Donair. Great place to get a donair.

I used to love coming here for my donair poutine fix and had been a loyal customer since 2019. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined, and the portions have become noticeably smaller. I remember when I ordered a donair poutine, it was always hot, fresh, and generously packed with meat. However, my recent experience was disappointing — the poutine lacked the same quality and flavor I once enjoyed.

Absolutely delicious donair salad! The portion was incredibly generous — definitely great value for the price. Everything was fresh and packed with flavour. Big shoutout to Eric and Pauline for the excellent service — friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you're craving a hearty and satisfying meal!

I’m all for supporting small business. And there is a reason why this place is called Simply Donairs….their donairs are delicious!!! Always get the small beef donair and it’s always way too big for me. Just had the falafel and it was terrible &
Now I have the worst taste left in my mouth !! So disappointed !! I gave them a 3 star for the beef donair not the falafel. A -3 star for the falafel!!!
And the young girl working the till is never very friendly or happy, every time I come here will definitely come back for the beef donair….but I won’t be tipping anymore.

The best donairs in St.Albert in my opinion. I have been to many places and had many a donair. So far I have been multiple times and every time my order has been perfect 👌 tried the onion rings, the donair poutine, regular and large donairs. The food has been fresh and grilled right in front of me and they always ask what you want on your donair before you even get it so how the 1 comment managed to get a donair plain is beyond me but definitely not the norm.

I ordered a regular donair and it came to me without sauce and veggies? Just dry donair meat and a pita. I don’t know how this happens when the only thing you really make there is donairs. Super disappointing and kinda pathetic. Nitzas from now on

The food is excellent, hands down the best donair and donair poutine in the city. I was a bit disappointed by how their online system works. I tried calling a few times to place an order over the phone for pick up but no one was answering so I decided to see if they had a website I could order from for pick up.
When I went to the website it had a few options to choose from. DoorDash online ( not sure what that is but I figured it was their online ordering ) as well as the other options were regular DoorDash, Uber Eats or Skip the Dishes.
I ordered the chicken fingers and it clearly states in the description that the chicken fingers come with 3 pieces, fries and a dipping sauce. When I opened my order after I arrived home, there were only 3 chicken fingers. No fries or dip and that cost me $8.85.
When I called the store to ask why I didn’t get fries it was told to me that you have to pay extra for fries and when I said I paid $8.85 for 3 chicken fingers and that’s not even what the description says is included he said well that’s the DoorDash price we only charge $5 in store and you pay more for DoorDash and they use AI to write on their website so that’s probably why it’s inaccurate.

Well why?? That was the only “online” order option and I didn’t even get it delivered!? I picked it up myself. Why am I paying an extra $3 on top of the price in the store? Which also isn’t indicated on the website. Whoever I spoke to today told me to contact DoorDash as it has nothing to do with Simply and they wouldn’t do anything for me.

I’m extremely disappointed in this customer service and false advertising on their website as well as not being open with the price difference. He was also quite rude to me on the phone when I said I didn’t realize ordering online would cost me more as well as when I mentioned I couldn’t get through on the phone line to order as he suggested. Yes, I could’ve gone inside the store but I was trying to save myself time as I am a busy mom. All I wanted was some damn fries and they couldn’t even offer me that, what a joke.

Usually quite busy in here. Possibly the best donair in the city. Ask for it well done with double cheese.
