Stopped in for an early dinner with a friend. He had a burger and I the beef dip. Both were very tasty and good size portions. Our waiter JASON... was Fantastic!! The best and friendliest service! He was busy with several tables but managed to care to each table with the same enthusiasm and friendliness any customer would hope for.

Went for breakfast with my sister to catch up. The food was under whelming for the price. The service was decent and its not a fancy place. I would give it a second chance since I heard good things, maybe just an off day.

Our group of 10 (grandparents, parents, and children) was seated within minutes of arrival - we just missed the rush; our server, Emily, was attentive and friendly even when things got hectic; and the food was great (flavour and presentation). Thank you for accommodating us! We had a fantastic experience.

Been to this restaurant a number of times and will keep going back. The staff are amazing, work hard, pleasant and friendly. The food is always good… I tell all my friends and family to check this gem of a restaurant out and more folks should as well. 5 stars all the way.

Everything about this place is incredible! The people, the atmosphere, the fact that it was absolutely full of the happiest retired folks going in for yummy brunches, and the fact that their food is absolutely incredible will bring me back many many times!

Tried Socrates for the first time. Not impressed unfortunately. Food came out within 7 min of ordering which normally I’d be impressed with but the hashbrowns were cold and the eggs weren’t cooked. Such an expensive meal and not worth it.

Don't be mistaken in thinking Socrates is the just the best breakfast in town... they also have a pretty amazing lunch and dinner menu too! Seriously, try the pizza, which is not only affordable but absolutely delicious. Plus, their other menu items are fantastic. I really like the beef dip and chicken souvlaki. The staff are friendly and efficient, even when it's busy. Strongly recommend Socrates.

Met a couple of friends for breakfast one weekend morning. We arrived around 9 AM and we're probably one of the last groups to get a table that was free at that time, as there was a wait not long after our arrival.

We enjoyed the coffee and did not feel rushed to order our breakfasts, which was nice since we were catching up. I ended up deciding on the breakfast sandwich which had a nice fried egg and crispy bacon. The hash browns were nice and crispy and well seasoned. A couple of others really enjoyed their chicken and waffles. We continued our visit afterwards without feeling like we were being pushed out the door.

I'd definitely return again in the future.
