Songkran is one of my favorite restaurants in St. Albert because they serve truly authentic Thai food. Their tom yum soup is absolutely my go-to — it’s flavourful, fresh, and warming. I’ve been there for several occasions, and the food always impresses with its freshness and genuine taste. The portions are generous, yet the quality never drops. I highly recommend Songkran to anyone looking for a top-tier Thai dining experience. The place is old and needs improvements but the quality of food makes up for that.

The food is soooo delicious, the staff is friendly, my only complaint would be lots of flies in the place which is not pleasant when you’re eating, but other than that we have tried several dishes and it never disappoints, they are just sooo good! Highly recommend their food.

We sat down at the restaurant, got her appetizer and got her food all within 25 minutes. We were quite pleasantly surprised that we got our food very quickly and it is not frozen food. It was very fresh dishes and appetizers. I really enjoy going to this place. I highly recommend this restaurant

We had the best Thai food here in St. Albert.. The price is very reasonable. The food is so gooooooddddd... I was not expecting that!!! I always visit Thailand for their food and massage and today I discovered a very authentic Thai resto here in St. Albert.. My husband like their beef noodle soup that until we got home he still keeps talking about it. Sticky Rice is also top notch.. The whole order is a top notch!!!!

The booth seating was extremely worn and shabby looking. It has 75% holes and tear in it. It actually looks disgusting to go sit in it. I’ve eaten there before and had great food but this time the pineapple in my curry tasted a bit off and once I got home, I was ill. I will not be going back soon.

The food was surprisingly good, but if you look around you will easily notice how unsanitary, filthy, and run down this restaurant is. Flies swarming everywhere, dust, cob webs all over the window ledges and lamps, furniture falling apart. Just overall very dirty. I will not return again.
