It's been a while since we were at this location, and what we noticed most is the elevated noise level and the number of families with children. The price per plate of food at this establishment is on the higher side, and that usually means they cater to a certain clientele. I felt that for the price of our meal, the experience didn't match. If you're looking for a date night with your partner, and are hoping for a nice candle-light romance and quiet conversation, this isn't the place to go.

They food was wonderful, fresh and delicious! It was my birthday and a lot of the staff made it a point to wish a happy birthday. Will definitely be going back

A number of very noisy parties made for a near impossible chance to have a conversation at the table. Food as always is very good. Servers were extremely busy so service not as good as usual understandably.

Everyone enjoyed their meal except for me. I had the mushroom ravioli. The mussels in white wine sauce were awesome!

My family and I were so impressed with the amazing service! Mourad was super attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The whole team was great too. We had such a wonderful time celebrating my brother-in-law’s birthday — thank you for making it special!

Sorrentinos always delivers a nice friendly dining experience. The servers were great. Our food arrived promptly and was hot. They allowed a bit of time between the appetizer and the main course so we didn't feel rushed. I have ordered the Cannelloni numerous times but this time was not up to par. Actually too much filling which was dry. The Tiramisu didn't resemble the usual dish in looks or taste. Again we have ordered it many times and is it usually delicious. We mentioned the dessert issue and it was acknowledged by the server and removed from the bill.

This was my first time back to Sorrentino's after 8 years. I have to say, I regret not going sooner. It was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. I will be back soon!

If you’re looking for a relaxed or romantic night out, Sorrentino’s St. Albert might not be the best choice. My wife and I have visited twice now, hoping to enjoy a quiet evening in the lounge, but both times we were turned away and told we had to sit in the dining room—even though the lounge was mostly empty.

On one occasion, it was our anniversary. We arrived early, hoping to start the evening with a glass of champagne in the lounge before dinner, but were again refused. Despite open tables, there was no effort made to accommodate us or even explain the policy with any courtesy.

The experience both times left us disappointed. A little flexibility and genuine hospitality go a long way, especially when guests are celebrating special occasions. Unfortunately, that’s not what we experienced here.

Service was excellent. Staff was very attentive. They even sang Happy Birthday to our Mom as they brought the birthday dessert to the table! Food was delicious! Thank you! Mary

This was our 1st time at this location. We went to celebrate a birthday and were expecting an upscale dining experience, based on the photos, menu and smart casual dress code( saw some in jeans and baggy pants). The dining room was designed differently, tables by the window were white clothed but tables in centre were not. Our table was in the middle, within eye sight of the front entrance and 4 feet from the open kitchen.
Upon entering I smelled smoke apparently from the wood fire oven , it was strong. The menu was extensive, the appetizer were delicious, the Caesar salad was wilted and over sauced; the bolognese sauce was very salty ( had to return) and the lasagna and mussels were good. The wine was insanely over-priced ($18.00 for 5 oz; $109 for bottle of $39.00 Chianti.
Staff were very attentive and polite. We would probably go back but just for lunch.
