I highly recommend this place, we had a fantastic dinner here each of us trying something different and we were all satisfied with the flavours and quality of the food. The drinks were also pretty good. The atmosphere was quite nice.

We had an amazing mid-week meal at Taste of Ukraine!! We last ate at Taste of Ukraine nearly 15 years ago, and since moving out of Canada have really missed having decent perogis. Our recent meal definitely lived up to our expectations! I loved the option of having a mix of sides rather than a main meal, and the kids meals were perfect for our little ones đ I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Ukrainian food!!!

We ordered take-out for 3 from Taste of Ukraine the other day. The website lists closing at 8:30 pm; however, the door shows 8:00 pm closing. I arrived at 8:00 pm to pick up and had to wait since our order wasnât ready even though we gave half hour heads-up to them. We all ordered the Sampler, which doesnât include any protein - so I ordered the kubasa x3 with it. Our bill for 3 came to just under $105 w/tip - the kubasa was $10 each extra and was only the size of a Smokey.
While waiting for our order, I noted the restaurant is trying to capture European old world charm in its decor; however, itâs now dark & very dusty overall including the glassware that overhangs the till. I could see that much of the glassware could use a good wash!
I couldnât tell if the perogies were good or not because all we got for $105 was a big ball of mushed dough and there was no butter added to keep the perogies from sticking together. We all ordered cheddar perogies but Iâm not certain I seen or tasted any cheddar in the big pile of mushed dough. Iâm not certain how many perogies were in the ball of mushed dough. We got 2 cabbage rolls each, which were mehâŚmy Ukrainian aunt didnât eat the cabbage since it was a bit tough from not being thoroughly cooked. The Nalysnyky was mehâŚand I didnât eat the Pyrizhky since it wasnât that good.
I wouldnât recommend eating here for the price and overall poor food quality. Uncle Edâs in north Edmonton is excellent alternative with a better price. Also, Saskitoba is much better priced and all you can eat. Donât eat here!!

We ordered take-out dinner for a multi-generation family get-together. Andrew gave fantastic recommendations as to what would be best/simplest for a buffet-style dinner and how much to order per person. The food was on time, hot and ready to go when we came to pick it up, and it was very well packaged. Everything was a hit, and the chicken skewers were a particular favorite. The quantity was perfect. Highly (HIGHLY) recommended.
