Went for dinner with a large group. Pecan chicken & Caesar salad were excellent. Didn’t like their Caesar drink. Bread pudding very tasty. Service was excellent! Our group had a great time!

Been coming here for over 3 decades, it has a west edmonton mall bourbon street style with a new Orleans vibe, I always get the steak sandwich but my Absolute fave is the Chicken Sausage Gumbo with no Rice. Its soo delicious

I had an amazing dinner at The Cajun House in St. Albert! The vibe was warm and cozy—perfect for a relaxed night out. I ordered the Shrimp Creole, and it was packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice. You can really tell the food is made with care, and everything tasted super fresh.

My husband ordered the Chicken Po’ Boy, which is his favorite dish at his favorite place to eat! He loved it—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned.

The service was excellent—friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They made sure we had everything we needed and genuinely cared about our experience.

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to find such authentic Southern flavors in St. Albert, but The Cajun House completely delivered. We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes! Highly recommend this place if you’re craving something bold and delicious.

Very bland and overcooked food. Service and ambiance was great but kitchen needs more finesse/flavour. Strangely large seafood jambalaya….

This place has been St. Alberts best kept secret for years!
Only place that I know that is pretty much the same since the day it opened!!

Extremely disappointed in the food. Ordered the 10 oz Ribeye. Asked for Blue rare. It was medium at best, it had no flavour, and it looked and felt like they tenderized it. This looked more like a skirt steak than a Ribeye. My wife's chicken pasta dish also was very bland. I had their signature cheesecake for dessert. It was ok but way overpriced in my opinion. My wife had their pecan pie and some of the pecans were rancid! I will not be coming back.

My favorite restaurant period. Lots of interesting stuff on the menu and each new dish I try is my new favorite. We have been going to the Cajun House since we moved to St Albert in 1989. It still is a great restaurant 35 years later. Their Seafood Jambalaya and Steak Jefferson are my old favorites.

Food is great, the server was really sweet and nice. I didn’t get her name but we went there on Tuesday at 2:00pm. Atmosphere was okay but the restaurant looked kinda dingy.

The food was so good, we were a very big group of ladies and the service was great. Food was hot, fresh and delicious.
Sweet potato (harvest) soup WOW
And the pear/ginger halibut with rice and veggies oh so good.
This was a seasonal item but this place never disappoints when it comes to the food and service.
Parking though!!! Need more parking.

I really wanted to give this place a good review. The highlight was the seafood gumbo which I would rate a 10/10. Full of flavor and seafood. Unfortunately the rest of the meal was extremely disappointing. 44 dollars for some microwaved frozen veggies, a single bland potato, and a small piece of fish with some pie filling poured on top of it. I had the seasonal halibut dish and it was nothing I couldn't easily make myself at home. Did not have any spice or flavor whatsoever. My wife had the snapper and while it had a bit more flavor than my dish it had the same embarrassing sides. You can't be charging those kind of prices for that quality of food and expect people to be returning customers.

Our server was very friendly and nice. Food didn't come out fast but it wasn't slow either. The restaurant feels a bit dated and I think would benefit with some updates but I think this place should focus on enhancing it's food first.

Sadly I don't think I will ever come back, but if I was forced to I would stick with a cheap bowl of gumbo. 5/10

Had a reservation for this restaurant. They placed us in a terrible table right by the door. When we wanted to move to one of the many other open tables, we were told that they were all reserved. We left and won't go back. I don't care if the food is good. The service is atrocious.
