When through the drive-thru and ordered an XL Hot Chocolate. We had a receipt from a previous order with the survey that we had filled out to redeem for the $1.00 Hot Chocolate or French Vanilla Coffee. When we got to the window, the first employee had no idea what I was handing them, looked at it then back at us asking what is was. I told them it was for the $1.00 Hot Chocolate, with the survey code written at the bottom. The employee went to a second employee and had them look it, to which they both came back and pointed at the address on the receipt, saying that because it came from a different Tim Horton's location, they couldn't redeem it. I argued that was not true, and that I've filled out several of these types of Tim's surveys, and have used them and many different Tim's across the city without a problem, including this very same Tim Horton's I go to quite often. They went and got a third employee (presumably a manager), who came to the window and said the same thing. They refused to redeem it because the receipt came from a different Tim Horton's. Again I argued that I've never encountered this before, and asked it it was a new policy. They refused to answer my question, and just walked away. Very rude and arrogant, from staff I didn't recognize. As I said, I go to this Tim's a lot, and never encountered this problem when I've given them receipts with survey codes (sometimes from other Tim's locations). Maybe if they weren't so rude I would have just paid the full price for the Hot Chocolate, but the attitude just turned me off completely, and we declined to pay for it or take it.
If this is a new policy that the survey's with the code are only valid at the store's they came from, when did this go into effect?

I don't know if anybody has ever told Tim Hortons, but every time, doesn't matter where, I get any drink with espresso, I have to wait for them to check for something when I'm in the drive thru and often I have to wait at the side or back. Even if it's one drink. Dont you guys do coffee as your main thing. What are you checking for. 5 star for service because I was grumpy and they stayed polite. You have good stuff, just very annoying. Don't do espresso if it doesn't fit into your model.

What can you say, Tim Hortons has the best coffee ever, their donuts are amazing as with their muffins and bagels and cookies. They have awesome chilli and I love their potato leek soup.
This location is always busy and I like the fact that when you work in the mall, they’re open earlier so you can get your morning coffee.
They do have a small area that you can sit, maybe six chairs but you’re in the mall so you can just take your coffee and go sit in the mall if you want.

Wow! This timmies had the best tasting fresh donuts out of a lot of the ones here in Edmonton. Yes we do have some in Edmonton that are good like that. But this day they were absolutely delicious.
I absolutely love this Tim's location! I am a drive thru user and the staff is always so friendly with me. I find the food and the iced caps in particular are really good quality. I have tried different locations and this is one has me going out of my way on the way home to get a coffee because of how friendly the staff is, and having the food/coffee exceed expectations will keep me coming back for more.
