Service was good and friendly, had the mushroom soup and short beef rib, it was very tasty, I feel the up scale atmosphere was very nice, the cost was high and the automatic 20 percent gratuity was a surprise. We celebrated a birthday and there was no acknowledgement

Food and service are both excellent. Our reservation at Riverbank Bistro fell through, so I called XIX and they were able to accommodate our party of four on 10-minute notice, despite it being a busy Saturday evening. Very much enjoyed our evening and got to try out their new menu.
