The Town Pump Restaurant and Lounge

We are on a bike trip and stopped here for lunch and what a great little spot. The soup was so good, the ladies working were so pleasant and helped us with some better roads to take. Would definitely stop again! Cheers

Beware on Friday after work. Those at bar over served and watched them walk out and drive away.

Thought it was gonna be a dive bar, but it's pretty decent.

Wings were cooked to perfection, classic vlt corner, bartender was very attentive to the small wednesday audience, decor is kinda still stuck in the 80s but who cares really.

Jan was a very kind server and answered all our menu questions. She had a kind smile and assisted us promptly and professionally. We enjoyed our meals and the food arrived warm. Thank-you for the great service and meal.

Normally I would suggest this place to eat. As it's normally one of the better places in Stettler for food and or accommodation. It is however the place to go for a good steak in town. No one will argue that (normally).

However tonight it just missed the mark. I appreciate 20% off the Steak that wasn't cooked properly cooked Blue in place of medium-rare. If we knew the steak would be put in the microwave we wouldn't have sent it back. Excessive grease and zero flavor came with my steak quesadilla. The server had good Intentions but was just too much for us to enjoy any type of atmosphere. We could have had a better meal in prison with the same service. Paid the bill RELUCTANTLY 15% tipped because Christmas is around the corner.. left there with a $50 bill feeling very ripped off 😕 won't be returning for a long while at least not on a Sunday.. The lesson is if you don't deliver on the order please take it off the bill. Do not insult a client with a 20% discount hoping that 20% might come back to you on the Bill even though you were still charged for food that wasn't even eaten because it wasn't cooked properly. The texture of the Steak w nuked rubber it wasn't chewable (microwaved) good steak melts in your mouth!

We stay at the hotel and go to the town pump daily, it’s got great food, beer is great and Jane is always very friendly. 100 percent would come here

Food was and always is fantastic, but Shawna is who I came here to review, more than anything. What an absolute doll! Great sense of humor, attentive, and just overall such a good vibe about her. Don't think we've had the pleasure of her serving us before, but I do so hope we get the privilege next time as well.
