After finding out last week I have celiac disease, I’ve been bummed about missing out on a lot of foods. I was recommended Blakes Bakery on a Facebook group for gluten free items. I went today and I was so impressed. The lady working (I believe the owner) was absolutely amazing. So sweet and answered all my questions! I left with a haskap cheesecake and some sort of raspberry cream cake. OMG it was the BEST I had ever eaten! It was so smooth, the cake part was so moist, and the flavors were out of this world. I’m so thankful I found this place! I also pre-ordered Gluten free cheese scones and Gluten-free sourdough bread for next week and I couldn’t be more excited! Thank you, Blakes Bakery! ❤️ You are so talented!

Prices are reasonable considering everything is baked right there. A huge selection of all kinds of goodies!! Ordered some gluten friendly selections for Christmas and they were an absolute hit! The GF Tiramisu was to die for!! Thank you for the delicious goodies this holiday season!! 😋 ❤️

Love this small town bakery!! Everything is made from scratch and you can tell that they love what they do, you can taste it in ALL of their treats. Cinnamon buns are HUGE and so delicious!! Also, regarding the Nanaimo bar review I just read.......I have to disagree 100%! The nanimo bars from Blakes are amazing. They are my regular treat and I am from BC (Home of the Nanaimo bar) so I have had many in my day and I haven't found any better from anywhere else. Keep up the great baking and know that Stony Plain is lucky to have you.
