Management is very poor. Produce is overpriced and out of date.
The Edmonton store (Rabbit Hill) has to be one of the classiest & nicer stores I've ever shopped. Kinda reminds me of Urban Fare, but better pricing 😆 Super friendly & helpful staff; again better than anywhere else I've shopped in 50 years. The meat department is 2nd to none. Well done!
Expensive, rip off. Close them Canada wife and bring affordable prices to Canadians.
Tried the Sunday brunch food was cold low on everything nothing fresh they obviously don’t care after noon , go to Edmonton one great service fresh lots to fill your plate

I really want to like Freson Brothers but my last snack boxes had moldy cheese. At $10 a box, big waste of money since I bought three. I really love their meat, Chinese hot buffet and salad bar.
With the lablows boycott I thought I would check out Freson Bros as I wanted to support a local independent grocer and let me be honest the store was (glenora location) was beautiful but holy smokes so expensive. Random item pricing for example clotted cream was almost 16.00 when at the Italian centre it is half that price. Avocados were 2.49 for one, bagged salads were 2 for 15.. that’s 7.5 each Costco has 2 bags for 7.99, iceberg was 3.49 and a small container of Brussels sprouts was over 5.00 amall dips were over 7.00 to name a few and so many other items nearly double the cost of other stores. Long story short .. lovely store but I just can’t justify shopping there with out of this world pricing.
I was so disappointed! I took my 19 month old to the store and I was completely unable to do any shopping. There is no seat in the cart, he didn't want to walk because of all the people and new environment, and I couldn't carry nearly 25lbs of weight in my one arm while shopping and standing in line to pay. So unfortunately, I had to leave without buying anything. I also think I won't be returning. It's definitely not mom/ toddler friendly. To think I was so excited for this place to open in Glenora.
While visiting Drumheller for a wedding, my husband and I visited Freson Brothers grocery store. We ate at the restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised that the food was amazing, especially the pulled pork, the store was very clean and well organized, the staff was very helpful, especially Judy! She went out of her way to help us find what we were looking for and she offered us water when she saw us buying bottled water. As we sat and ate our meal, she was helpful to other customers, she swept the floor, organized the drinks, cleaned tables non stop! She even chatted with us briefly. Customer service is very hard to find these days so thanks to Freson Bros for giving us a great, unexpected experience! We also had the pleasure of meeting the store manager, Dale, later that day. What a dedicated, enthusiastic, manager and exceptional guy! Hats off to Dale and his employees for running a top notch establishment!!
This place is excellent, everything you need very close to our camping spot at Camp n Class RV park. Bakery is fantastic, and the cinnamon buns are to die for, we purchased a total of 20 while staying in the area for a week and others that came from Edmonton also stopped in to purchase them. Great store in Stony Plain
