While the exterior and interior might seem a bit dated, don't let that deter you. The restaurant was clean, and the service was friendly and attentive.
Although my request to substitute chicken fried rice for BBQ pork fried rice was not accommodated, the food that arrived more than made up for it. The portion sizes were generous, and the dishes were served piping hot, fresh, and not at all greasy. In fact, the quality of the food was outstanding—definitely the best Chinese cuisine I've had in Alberta.
If you're looking for delicious, authentic Chinese food, the New Red Pepper Cafe is a must-visit!

Group of eight. We had take out. Salty, Salty, Salty. We are not picky eaters and try and make the best of our meal but nobody liked the food and we ended up throwing $140.00 in food in the trash. If you suffer from high blood pressure, don't eat here. It's was actually disgusting.

Wow what a hidden gem. The dry garlic ribs were the best I've had and all items were exceptional taste and great size for price. A very kind sweet lady greeted me and made me feel like I was at the right place. Her great attention made me wanna order more dishes as she sold me on pretty much everything I asked about. Can't wait to eat New Red ?️ Cafe next time
