Love this resturant, the staff is always friendly. It was busy when we went but the service was still excellent. A longer wait then normal for our main course, but that's is to expected on a busy night

Dinning area was not exceptional, I like the lounge much better as it's quieter and more intimate.
Service was slow we waited a lot before and after ordering.
The food thankfully was the best part of our visit.

Not that great this time around. Food was just warm as if it was sitting for a bit. Waitress was super!

We came to The Sawmill after walking out of another restaurant due to poor service - and we’re so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth and care. Megan, our server, was absolutely fantastic - friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was outstanding and full of flavor. It was our wedding anniversary, and The Sawmill truly saved the day and turned it into a night to remember. Thank you for such a wonderful experience - we’ll definitely be back!

Kids in a soccer tournament, and we decided to stay at the Best Western near the sawmill to give it a try.

From the moment we were seated, our server, Andrea, was absolutely fantastic. She made sure we were aware of all the menu features and highly recommended several dishes, making them sound utterly irresistible.

The prime rib was incredible, while the meatballs were just average. However, the exceptional service made it hard for us to complain about the dryness of the meatballs.

Andrea truly made us feel like royalty, and we couldn't resist ordering everything she suggested. She also mentioned that their brunch was legendary, but our hangover made it difficult for us to return for more.

We are sitting here now. 30 minutes and our order hasn't been taken yet. No they are not a packed house.

I think they need to inspect their steak.
It was the chew that kept on chewing.
I thought my friend had 4 stomachs and was chewing the cud.

The meal had a fantastic presentation and the service was very good too and I liked the dim lit atmosphere and very clean.

But my friend eating the steak may have been eating a leather shoe with shoe strings.

My salmon dinner was nothing to write home about and the rice reminded me of last night's left overs kinda hard crusty top on the jasmine rice.
Brussel sprouts were apparently deep fried but honestly I was not convinced of exactly how they were cooked.

The food was warm but if you want salmon dinner you are best to head to Moxie's (in the fall and winter) they do salmon dinner with mash potatoes with an outrageously good veggie dish combined with unique grilled brussel sprouts that are out of this world and they are to write home about.

Cannot say I would go there for steak and lobster nor for the salmon dinner again.

The food was great. Reasonably priced considering the times we're living in.

We were disappointed with our previous visit to their south Edmonton restaurant so we thought we'd try the Stony Plain site. It was no better. We waited an hour for our food which, when it came, was poor to mediocre. Sawmills used to be good but it seems to me they're on their way out. Waitress was friendly.
