Food has gone down hill. Hopefully they get back to being amazing as it's such a nice place.

It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The food was amazing. The service was great overall pretty darn good.

Three friends of over 40 years went for a perfect lunch at Sorrentino's Stony Plain. Our excellent server Vince, gleaned right away that this was a catch up visit, took our drink orders and checked back occasionally, but gave us lots of time to chat, before he took our order. He was funny, engaging and very professional at his job. He definitely fit into our group with his wit and easy manner. The food was delicious! We will return again and certainly ask for Vince to be our server.

Right from stepping in the door we had a great experience. The restaurant was quiet today, maybe timing. It was nice. Very nice décor and ambiance, super clean. Our server Kelly was attentive and a pleasure to interact with. The food today was very good and the garlic menu was delightful, who would have thought garlic would make a good desert. Our meals come out quickly. All in all a great experience. Highly recommend!

The food is always very good here, consistently tasty. The service seems to go up and down. I've had very attentive service with the server on top of things like refills and clearing plates, while on other occasions I've had to ask for side plates, ask for the complimentary bread, and ask for refills. But overall, still a solid place to go.

Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food was exceptional, my wife and I will definitely dine there again!

This is a weird review to write, becuse I genuinely did enjoy my meal, and the experience as a whole at Sorrentinos. The service was great, the atmosphere was great, the appetizers were great, but I had some issues with the main and cocktails.

I had the risotto special, a parmesan risotto with spare ribs and chili sauce, which was tasty and a fantastic special, on paper. The issue I had with it was that the ribs and the chili sauce were obviously not made in house, and were likely just basic off-the-shelf items from Sysco or GFS. I have no problem in general with restaurants using products from these companies, but the vibe that the sorrentinos group leans on is that they are high quality, higher end Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, which by definition requires fresh and high quality ingredients. Everyone else's food looked like it was made with a lot more care and attention than my special. I have no choice but to wonder how much of the menu comes in frozen and is reheated.

My cocktail also seemed to be a bit of a cop-out. I had the cherry old fashioned, which uses a bit of cherry syrup in place of a maraschino cherry. It was tasty, and better than many other old fashioneds I've tried, but using cherry syrup instead of demerara sugar and an actual cherry is just a sign of laziness in my opinion.

The prawn and calamari anti pasto dish was delicious! The chicken scallopini was ok. The restaurant was so hot tonight I had to get dessert to go but still I have to go here every year for my birthday. Never disappoints.
