We came to town for the Southern Alberta Summer Games, and this was an absolute disappointment.
We waited over an hour for our food. There were flies everywhere, the bathroom was disgusting, and the whole place felt unclean and poorly managed. When the food finally showed up, the wings looked gross, and nothing tasted fresh.
Our server didn’t care at all—no refills, no check-ins, nothing. Not worth paying a cent for this kind of experience.
A shoddy, poorly run place that wasted our time and left a terrible impression. Get it together, management—this gives Smitty’s a bad name. Very gross, dirty, badly run place!

First time I ever ate on this branch, my husband and I were so clueless on what to order but the server which Is I believe Filipina was AMAZING!! I forgot her name but she was a great server , offer options for us and food came so fast! We order breakfast special and I really enjoyed it! We are from saskatoon but next I get lost in Taber I will definitely come back here! Awesome!!

Took over an hour to get our food and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. Waitress was hard to understand. Had to ask three waitresses to get a coffee refill. Waitress was yelling across the restaurant at other servers. Ordered a full size skillet. Wasn’t served in a skillet dish but a small dessert plate and still got charged full price. Once I payed the waitress looked and me and said “oh no tip”

Very unimpressed. Bacon was cardboard. Restaurant was MESSY - not peak hours so why not tidy up??? Waitress brought wrong order…we were the only people in the restaurant. Literally the worst Smittys I’ve ever seen.
Food is amazing!!! I read the bad reviews and they were NOTHING compared to how I saw it in my perspective. The staff is careful and consistent . This place is very cutesy very mindful very demure.
