New Years Eve: chicken balls were cooked on too high a temp, not turned so 3/4 of the balls batter was hard, burned and 1/4 wasn't even browned & the chicken inside was raw. Rice was cold. Onion cake was also cooked too high a temp making the outer part burned and the inner layers just undercooked dough.

Stopped here for lunch on way home from Edmonton to Saskatchewan. Ordered beef n greens, sweet n sour pork and chow mein. It came quickly. Was piping hot and delicious and huge portions. We both stuffed ourselves and left with 3 full containers of left overs. The place could use a coat of paint and re fresh but it was the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely stop in our travels again.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lip to get over in the entrance way but staff were very helpful in assisting with holding the doors etc 😀

Ordered hot and sour soup.. Was pretty good.. appeared to be canned mushrooms , i may be wrong but i much preferred fresh in soup.. overall is a great serving of soup and very tasteful.. only glitch is my kid said the cashier gave him a dirty look as he didn't leave a tip for a 7$ soup... I hope that wasnt the case.. but will definitely buy from here again as food is good quality...

This is some of the best chinese food you can find in Alberta. Pricing is amazing, portions are amazing, taste is amazing. From the home made sweet and sour and lemon sauce, to the jumbo sized egg rolls, you cannot go wrong stopping in to get something here. I dont often come to Vermilion but when I do. I eat here. Hands down my favourite chinese food.

So we're from out of town and decided to just get away for the weekend. Boyfriend decided he wanted Chinese so we went to Mau Lam and let me tell you for a Saturday night dinner with the family it was great. The waitress was fantastic she put two chairs together for our baby's car seat to sit in. Our food portions were huge but absolutely delicious and we had to get them to go because we couldn't finish them. Our waitress offered to give us plastic cutlery since we were staying in a hotel and she gave us a bag for us to carry the rest of our food out which we didn't even ask for. Overall we loved it and will definitely be back the next time we're in town. Now we have to go rest from our food comas ?
