I have had a few different items in the menu and so far everything has been pretty good.the staff are very friendly as well

Some menu items are pretty clearly Costco-type easy prep meals. They clearly state some soups are condensed. But some menu items are very good to excellent, including the homemade soup, pizza, and lasagne. Prices are good. I would stop here again but be careful what I order.

Came in for wing night. Ordered 20 wings between 2 people. They were full of feathers sticking out at every angle on every wing, through the sauce. The insides were full of globules of gelatinized black blood, far more than I had seen in any other kind of well-butchered wing. When asked about this, waitress offered to cook them more??? We turned down the offer, and asked for the bill. The total was around $21 and when given $25 she walked away without our change and had to be asked to retrieve it. The only condolence for inedible food was ignorance and then an attempt at thieving a tip that was certainly not offered. Poor service and questionably sourced food. No offer for a discount or to even remove the uneaten food off the bill. No more than a bite or two was taken out of my food considering they were both of black powdery blood pockets.

Food is delicious!

Would recommend the Green Gables to everyone. Id say the meal is worth the drive. Fantastic food, good portions for reasonable price. The only reason I'd come back to Whitecourt, if it wasn't for work. 11/10 👍👍

We got homemade chicken noodle soup, cheeseburger, fries, turkey dinner, Caesar salad, mashed potatoes. Everything was very tasty. I enjoyed the turkey gravy.

Was nice to see family working together, the clubhouse with fries /gravy was very delicious. Will definitely be back when in whitecourt.

One of the best pizzas we have ever had. Many places try to hard with their deluxe pizzas. This one was very good. Will be back when in Whitecourt.

Not a clean restraunt, a 10 year old setting the tables she dropped cutlery on floor then put them on tables still. Stood at door 10 min then we sat ourselves. Then took 15 min to get drinks. When we ordered we were waiting an hour and finally got up to pay for our coffee. They didn't make us pay. She offered to see if it was ready and she was ruide and not happy. Not even worth the one star.

I had one of the best steaks ever here. It was a delicious 12oz NY strip topped with mushrooms and it rivaled some of the best steaks at big city steak houses. AAA Alberta beef, great flavour and very tender. Price was really fair for that kind of quality too.
