Thai food is a safe haven for traveling vegans! I did notice this Thai restaurant seemed to add egg and/ or chicken to more dishes than I’m used to seeing it added to for Thai. So while it felt like we had less options than usual for Thai, we still loved what we did have and there were still plenty of options for what we needed. We especially loved the amount of veggies and freshness of the dish. I will say— the low spice dishes are not remotely close to the level of spice I’m used to with Thai. I’m used to *struggling* with even small amount of spice (lol), and here it was not remotely spicy, even for the dishes with 1 * to denote some spice. So if you’re going for Thai because you like the spice, you may need to urge them for a little more!

Doordashed the drunken noodles for lunch and they charge extra for the beef, I got my plate and there is literally only 3 small pieces of beef and the rest were noodles and a few broccoli 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m so disappointed! Will not order again!

We have been eating at Taste of Thai since 2011 and keep coming back. This is the best Thai restaurant in Anchorage. Our favorites are garlic and peppercorn halibut, yellow curry, panang curry, cashew nut chicken and pork stew. Our kids fight over the food as it comes out.

Great place to dine in, has a nice atmosphere. I also love to get their food to go. It’s always fresh and hot. Has the best cashew nut in town hands down. Veggies and nuts and chicken in a perfect sauce over a bed of rice. Chefs kiss.

The food taste great. The portion sizes are ridiculously small for the price you pay. This is a prime example of skimping. I will never come back.

Ordered shrimp rolls as an appetizer. Rolls were crispy. For main dishes ordered green curry dinner portion w/shrimp, pad Thai lunch special and spicy noodle dinner portion with chicken.
Flavor of the spicy noodle was fine, but the portion was more like that of the lunch special yet cost 2 dollars more. Pad Thai lunch special came with egg roll and soup. Soup flavor was boring. In both cases there were noodles, but skimpy on the veggies and chicken that were supposed to be in it.

Green curry, main flavor came from the heat. It lists bell pepper, eggplant and bamboo shoots as the veggies with the protein of choice. Paid 23.00 for this dish. Got lots of bamboo shoots, 5 shrimp (nicely cooked), 2 slices of bell pepper and 5 tiny paper thin slices of Japanese eggplant. There was so few scraps of eggplant that if I hadn’t been looking for them I would have missed them completely. Total bill was 82.00,
