SteamDot Coffee O'Malley Cafe is a great coffee shop with a great location. It has a Metro vibe and a focus on brighter coffees, with large open ceilings and metal accents giving the air of a downtown metropolitan cafe. The atmosphere is classy and tucked shirt. Adding to the ambience are paintings from local featured artists. The coffee is faster than the coffee carts and much better tasting. It has lots of variety, including craft coffee, and also sells bulk coffee and supplies. The single origin grind is recommended for its uniqueness and flavor. For espresso drinkers, Steamdot has the best espresso in Alaska due to the proper use of the Slayer Espresso Machine. The fire weed cold brew iced coffee is absolutely Amazing. Best lattes in town are not overly sweet, with fresh espresso beans not over roasted. Staff are always friendly. However, it is tricky to find a table most of the time as folks are packed in, making it a bit loud. Milk drinks suffer from lower quality syrups offered compared to the competition.
