“What a wonderful little gem! As a fellow European who misses good coffee and baked goods that aren't overly sweetened, I have so much appreciation for this cute little Café. It is evident that so much care goes into every detail of the shop; from the delicious baked goods to the coffee, Chai and tea selection to the thoughtful layout and beautiful artwork. The atmosphere is lovely and quiet and everything is incredibly clean. I cannot recommend this Cafe enough!“
“Not just the best coffee shop/but in Anchorage but some of the best coffee and chai anywhere in America. Have lived in many states and huge cities and almost nothing compares.I still don’t know what they do with the chai latte. You can buy the same powder and milk and magic bullet but I cannot replicate how good it is.“
“After the Fur Rondy, we dropped by this nice and cozy store to get warm.We found a little cafe in the back of the store and decided to try it.First we were thinking of grabbing hot chocolates but there were also some nice looking doughnuts in the show window. So we ordered the vanilla and fireweed old fashioned ones. The vanilla one was good and tasted fresh so it must have been made that day.The fireweed one was unique and slightly spicy aftertaste but also good and we would recommend it as it is unique to Alaska. The cafe itself is not big and if you visit for afternoon tea time, it might be difficult to find a table but if you stay nearby, you can enjoy their drinks and doughnuts at your hotel as you can get it to go. But be warned, if you try to take a hot drink out in winter, a few minutes it will be cold.“
“Good place to order from early in the morning, I have which only have had two bad experiences one time wasn’t the work places fault but I got cut in line when grabbing a drink so I recommend ordering first lol and second time I ordered a breakfast croissant egg cheese sandwich with an add-on of avocado and bacon and I only got an egg and cheese on it and I had payed extra for the avocado and bacon was too tired and checked when I already left so I didn’t want to come back and it was too early and didn’t want to argue about it so I ate it, still good just mad I payed extra other than that I recommend checking food before you leave incase something is wrong :)“
“Great little coffee shop, I wanted to stop by many times because I shop at Sweet Caribou a lot which is next-door. It’s nice it looks clean and spacious and beautiful the seating area looks great to sit down and read a paper and drink your coffee. So today while at sweet Caribou I decided to get a cup of coffee and a mocha both of which were for me, (I do have a lot of work in my car) and both were very good. Add come back again it’s got that little coffeehouse feel that I like.“
“Have been coming consistently for two years now. Absolutely love the crepes and the espresso bar mama Mia latte (Nutella coated glass) is a must for me! I always need a sweet and savory crepe. Cozy atmosphere with swings and rotating artwork for sale! We always use the punch card and get a free crepe every 10-12!“
“I called in an order and the lady on the other end was super sweet! If you’re curious, you can pay over the phone and they do accept Apple Pay :)I ordered the mango greens, super good but I barely tasted any mango but overall I really loved the smoothie and it definitely filled me up.Im still giving it a 5 star because my fiancé said that when we went to pick the drink up he was offered some samples of the juices and he loved it way better than the other juice shops around town and this is coming from a man that’s picky ?Definitely will be back to try the food and juices!“
“We LOVE Sis's! My company gets catering done by them all the time and it's so convenient and the catering menu has excellent options, especially for breakfast! They are easy to work with and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone who has catering needs. And the chicken noodle soup on Wednesdays is yummy!“
“I've gone to this coffee shop daily for the last year since I moved into this area. I've been buying a mocha every day for probably the last 2 decades, and I'll drive out of my way for great coffee and service. I got so lucky last year when I moved into this area. The coffee, pastries, the service at this drive-through coffee shop, in my opinion, are absolutely incredible. The coffee is consistently exactly the way I like it, I know the owner uses top grade products, super consciencios about quality, and the people who work there have got to be some of the nicest people in Anchorage. Always a pleasure.“
“This is hands down the best coffee shop in town. It is at the heart of downtown so it gets busy fast but their sense of urgency and quality of service is unmatched. I never mind having to wait here because they are extremely personable and passionate about what they do. I recommend this place to everyone - if you're in the area, check them out.“
“I run a local produce delivery business, Arctic Harvest Deliveries. Two weeks ago, one of our pickup locations was unexpectedly closed for several days because of the snowstorm. The owner of Cafecito Bonito, whom we had never spoken to before, stepped up without hesitation, offering to act as host for the day. Their kindness and generosity are still giving me the warm and fuzzies. This is what community is all about.“
“Great donuts. Best tasting donuts in Anchorage. Best donut selection in Anchorage. Drive through or go inside. Open long hours (24 hours except part of Sunday & Monday). Great service. In an unassuming old bank building at Tudor & Lake Otis. Highly recommended!“
“This gem is hidden up in the 5th Avenue Mall food court. It is the best value downtown, and the food is fantastic. The R&R is massive, my kid raved about the breakfast burrito, and may spam musubi with egg was very generous and tasty. I forgot to take pictures because we were busy scarfing food. Both kids asked me to add that the hot chocolate is excellent.“
“We enjoyed some delicious drinks yesterday including a muddy buddy drink, lotus, and iced coffee. The service was wonderful as she was able to answer our many questions and make some wonderful drinks for us.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free“
“Drive up coffee hut. Wait times are usually fairly quick. I have been here with four cars in line and still gotten through quickly. It all really just depends on what the person in front of you is ordering so remember not to be a jerk. The place is my jam! Its always nice to go to a coffee hut where they do a good job. I love they have a punch card, they even offer giftcards. - Great gifts! The team here place some great music and its always a fun time.“
“My family and I have been coming here for the last year and it has been good place to get our laundry done. The prices are good. They have snacks and drinks to purchase. The only down side is parking can be a problem but that can be an issue with any business in Anchorage. I gave four stars because the staff the last couple time we have come have had the music so loud you are not able to hear anything anyone says. Otherwise this place is great to do laundry.“
“great job ladies!! best place for a good coffee and you can get the biggest coffee they offer in the convenience of your vehicle. beautiful people who genuinely care about your being happy. don't forget to get your gift cards and punch out card for your next free cofree!!!“
“Nestled in the heart of Anchorage's snowy embrace, this coffee shop offers an unparalleled coffee experience that I've had the pleasure of indulging in. The warm, cozy, and inviting atmosphere of the cafe welcomes patrons with open arms, providing a serene haven from the chill outside. With its expansive selection of pastries and beverage options, there's something to satisfy every palate. The baristas are nothing short of exceptional, blending unparalleled skill with genuine warmth. Their expertise in crafting each beverage to perfection is evident, ensuring every sip is a testament to their passion for coffee. Their friendly smiles and attentive service enhance the overall experience, making each visit memorable.“
“I've been coming to this coffee shop for over 10 years now, when I lived on the peninsula, this was my first stop when I would visit Anchorage & my last stop before I went back! Since moving to Anchorage about 5 years ago, I've become a very frequent customer, getting to know most of the late night crew very well! This is my favorite place to get coffee & not just because of the quality of the drinks, but the quality of the people who make them as well!“
“I absolutely love this little shop! The vibe is just so calm and quiet compared to the bustle of the other businesses in the strip. The staff is always super friendly! And the coffee always tastes so good! It has such a unique flavor and the syrups taste very fresh - I only have one other place to compare it to and they closed during Covid, they made their lattes with housemade vanilla bean syrup and honey, it was always worth the extra drive, and the lattes here taste just like that! I haven't tried the food yet but it always sounds so tasty. I would definitely recommend stopping by.“
“My favorite coffee spot with the exception of one location. The service gets worse, they had a great team before. I ordered a cup of almond milk with one of their cookies because I am pregnant and I do not drink a lot of caffeine. They charged my for whole milk $3.50 an 8 oz cup, and the "server" acted weird about it. She literally serves beverages for a living and it was the most awkward service in front of a bunch of people. This was at around 3 pm today at 3800 centerpoint. I hope in the future they do not segregate customers based on their order it was very awkward for her.“
“Their white coffee is really good, so is their mermaid popping boba drink, the baristas are very efficient and accommodating, when I asked them to modify a drink for my siblings . Love this placeKid-friendliness: I asked them to make their speciality mermaid lotus into an Italian soda b/c I didn’t want to caffeinate my 2 siblings, they changed their recipe and even put whip cream on the lid of my brothers drink just like he requested and made my siblings drink fancy by adding a little drawing on the cups.“
“These girls make the best coffee hands down. I come by for coffee every time I'm in Anchorage, Alaska. My drink is a mocha frappe, and I usually have it finished in less than 20 minutes if I'm not careful, kuz it's so darn good. I'll be seeing you girls next year when I'm back in town. ☕️??“
“I'm a sucker for anything lavender so I had to try The Lady Godiva - lavender mocha with salted blackcurrent whipped cream. I went on a warm-ish day, so I asked for it iced. Delicious!!It's such a cute coffee hut and I love the mustache on the cup. If I drove by this place to get to work I'd stop here daily. Unfortunately, it's in the opposite direction but I will definitely drive through when I'm in the area or make a special trip here on the weekends.“
“I am a local mobile notary I own Alaska Mobile Notary Services right next to you guys and you guys are like my favorite coffee place convenient and the online ordering is awesome!! Thank you for being in Spenard #KeepSpenardWeird #AlaskaMobileNotaryServicesKid-friendliness: Free whip cream“
“Sad to see so much negative feedback after personally only ever having had exceedingly positive visits to Mocha Masters. The woman working the stand has always been kind and cordial if not chipper even at some visits. Not trying to downplay others' experiences, however. I've just never experienced any rude or dismissive behavior by any stretch of the imagination...maybe you just caught her on an off day? No one can be 100 all of the time. All of that being said, this lady knows her way around fun drinks! If you like redbull smoothies, mangonadas, etc with all the goodies and fixings at a reasonable price then you gotta check this place out. Yeah, it takes a little longer than some shops to make the drinks but it's honestly pretty fast considering how much extra effort is put into them. If you like mangonadas, I've tried every place in town that offers them and hers are some of the best! Give it a go!“
“Finally got to partake in gelato, after a long, hot, sunny day. Gelatte is located directly across from Town Square Downtown. Their space is open, airy, and clean. The door was propped open encouraging our visit. The ladies working the counter were warm and helpful. Gelattes' Ube gelato was creamy perfection. My eldest enjoyed their Pina Colada flavor. We felt sizes and prices were fair.“
“I only buy coffee. No food review from me, but....... I believe my 2 dogs got a treat at this location.SO, therefore....... ☆☆☆☆☆ in The food category, thats what the dogs said to put for a review.And...... I love it when a companies employees acknowledge our beloved oetsMeanwhile, the car back windows are rolled down, and the dogs are giving em the, ya know, those eyes ?. Lol!I gotta remind McDonald's employees down the street from The Hut."Yo! Ya, have got any dog treats in there?"Haha!COFFEE?It's coffee man..... right through your car window.Mine was strong coffee, and the Redbull Smoothie was for a friend. 12 dollars.Anyway, if ya thought my review was fun and entertaining, or it just helped your day in some way, please hit that button below to let Google know.Take care.Parking: Its in front of the strip mall with the bowling alley on one end and a dispensary on the other.“
“Rustic Goat was an excellent experience. The food was delicious, the local beer list was nicely put together, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. My husband and I shared the Caeser salad, scallops, airline chicken, and tiramisu and all of this filled us to the brim and left us with happy tummies. It was my birthday dinner and the staff all made me feel special as well. Would highly recommend this place for dinner.“
“Must stop in the C gate terminal at the airport! A satellite location of the beloved Downtown Anchorage store, you will find a great sampling of their eclectic inventory, including their wonderful teas! Great place to pick up snacks and souvenirs.“
“Wanted something sweet today and decided to pull the pin on this place. They did not disappoint! Friendly, welcoming, and a smooth process. Their mocha frappe is amazingly delicious and I wouod reccomend. Next time, I'll be coming by to try their hot coffee.“
“The sweet lady who made my drink this morning was very friendly. I asked for a gingerbread chia latte and it is by far the best one I have had in my life! The temperature was also perfect! We are just visiting and I will definitely tell anyone visiting to stop here.“
“I typically avoid drive thru espresso stands because it's hard to tweak my drink ( yes I have multiple parameters) but Kelsa is experienced at crafting espresso drinks and nailed it on my americao, also the March Lotus drink special with green apple, kiwi and lime was a hit with my passenger. Must try this place and on Saturday she features fresh made brioche donuts made especially for her!!“
“The place looked at little run down driving by it, but I finally got around to looking up their menu and once I did, I HAD to try it! I got the smoked salmon breakfast burrito, soooo good! I was going to try one of the smoothies, but they only had peach and barely enough of that. So I asked what their best coffee flavor was and I don't even remember it was peanut butter some kind of cookie and white chocolate, so I went with that one and it was so good! The right amount of sweetness and strength. I wish I went back again, because I'm incredibly interested and curious about the Reindeer Crunchwrap!“
“I have finally made it to the Moose!! A’La Mode!!OH and I regret not making it soonerDon't make the same mistake I did, lots of option including fresh salad bar and extended hours and delivery available through 3rd party appsIt's worth that too!!I had the Brockstar Burger with friesAbsolutely delicious and spicy enough for mostAs with Marty I prefer the extra heat!!Get down there and try them out!!Parking: Is limited but worth the short walk or delivery services!!“
“It is a nice coffee shop with a great view of the mountains. Inside has the feeling of a nice coffee shop with some art on the walls and a coffee bar with bakery and food items located there as well. The cashier and cook didn't have the best of customer service mannerisms but they still did their job and got the coffee and burrito I had ordered out to me. Still I would recommend making a stop here and getting some coffee and enjoy the mountain views.“
“Recently returned to Alaska after living in Washington. I tried a bunch of different coffee shops to figure out who’s coffee I liked, flavor wise.I only drink iced Americano’s. So that’s review is for that. The service is fantastic. The coffee flavor is wonderful. I get two shots at a time. The flavor is really nice and it’s not too strong. No bitterness completely smooth. They have food from illusions food company. The croissant chicken cashew salad sandwich is my current favorite. They have a rotating assortment of cookies. These cookies are frozen first. However, in all the years I’ve been eating them bc they sell this brand at my fave coffee shop in Kodiak. It doesn’t matter if they’ve been frozen, they freeze and thaw perfectly.I have been to every one of the coffee shops for common grounds, but the Dimond location is my favorite.“
“Finally, a coffee shop that does not have a boring tea menu! I was so impressed they had 10 different teas with various varieties, and then they steeped it with a timer. I saw incredible artwork that the Reece were doing with local mochas and café drinks. It was such a fun experience going here. They actually have a Chemex and a coffee that you can get that’s made with a Chemex set up, I was impressed by that. This is a great place to take friends to talk. The only negative aspect that I could find with this location is that I couldn’t find a power source easily in a wall if you are working on your laptop.“
“Full 5Stars IF the seating was all padded. It is not. Shame. The wood benches we were originally seated on were so harsh that I couldn't stand it. The staff moved us to a seating arrangement with padded seating and we stayed and had a lovely time & dinner ?.“
“My coworker used to live in Anchorage and so while we're here visiting clients for work recommended this place. It doesn't look like much from the outside but let me tell you they have one of the best breakfast burritos I've had on the West Coast. Eight dollars for something the size of what you would get at Chipotle. Packed full of meat, egg and cheese with just a little bit of potato to not overshadow the flavor. Owner was super kind and would definitely recommend coming back. There were large snow drifts all around the drive up only access and had to wait patiently for orders to be made, but it was well worth the wait.“
“Very nice! First time here and am wondering why. Service with smiles, great food, great beverages, clean, spacious, well decorated, lots of electrical outlets throughout and lots of natural light. Just finished a breakfast burrito and find myself not wanting to leave. “
“This place is seriously so underrated! They have some of the best (my #1 favorite) coffee in all of Anchorage! The frappe is one of my favorites as well as just the regular plain coffees. Super rich and flavorful! The waffles here are delicious as well and very customizable. I can’t recommend this place enough!“
“5 stars all day everyday. Dads in town and this is our first stop every morning. Get your danish while you wait, sit down and enjoy. We love the sitting area, it's really good people watching. Enjoy the hot bar if it's ready or the soup bar. You get a roll and butter with each cup you purchase. My favorite is the unstuffed cabbage roll soup. Killer soup with a little kick. When they have it I always get 2 or 3 so i have it for a couple of days. All in all please stop by and say hi to the wonderful people that work here. They are amazing.“
“THE absolute best coffee — Black Rifle. I don’t understand how it’s any different than other beans, but it is. This place is worth the extra drive out of the way to get an amazing latte or breve and pick up a bag of beans. They’ll freshly grind the beans for you too! I recommend the “Just Black” type.“
“I don't drink coffee, but my friend and I travel together a lot and we spend almost every morning of our trips searching for a coffee place. And then she almost always ends up dumping the coffee out because she doesn't like it. We happened upon heavenly cup and miraculously the coffee met her high standards to the point that we went back the next morning! And the coffee girls were both really nice each morning.“
“We LOVE fresh cup!! We go almost every weekend, it's a great place to get to sit down and enjoy your coffee while your kids get some time to run and play and meet other kids. They keep the whole space SO clean and have really tasty specialty drinks, can't recommend them enough for a play date or just a nice relaxing break for everyone.“
“My very favorite thing about Alaska is Latin Drip. First, their building is painted with GLITTER!!! The service is exceptional every single time. We love those ladies! Coffee is always well-made. Italian sodas with edible glitter for the kids, made special with extra care every time. Since we moved away and can't have Latin Drip, we haven't bought coffee anywhere, because we know we'll just be disappointed. We miss you guys so much!“
“I have only been here once but I love this place . The interior is first class ! It's beautiful ! I believe it's family run . I commented on how much I enjoyed my taco and the person I told said it was exactly how his mom made them in Mexico . I was also pleased how nicely they served a single taco . It was a very pleasant and satisfying lunch ! The location is great ! They have a rewards program which I think is very cool . I just signed up ! I highly recommended Rafeletos !“
“As I was researching solid local eats in Anchorage for my Alaskan getaway, I stumbled upon Biscuit Club as an essential restaurant in Anchorage, per Eater's website. I was not disappointed! The restaurant's entrance is a smidge tricky, but if you know it's the shopping center with beautiful blue Alaskan mural outside, you'll find it in no time! The women working behind the counter were friendly and cheerful as they took my order. I ordered the Heartbreaker biscuit and a Chai. Seating is in the hallway right through the doors to the right of the counter, so I decided to dine in. Within 3-4 minutes, I had both drink and biscuit at my table. The biscuit is incredible. The Heartbreaker is a bit heavy with the meats, cheese and gravy, but if you've skipped breakfast, it's worth it! The chai was piping hot and the perfect balance of sweet and spice (versus the sweet leaning likes of Starby's). I was very impressed, and I'll probably drop back by before I leave Anchorage this week. You can bet I'll be back on my next Alaskan trip, too! ???“
