“Professional and courteous staff with amazing food. The bar has knowledgeable bartenders with an excellent cocktail menu and an awesome selection of wine, liquor and draft beer. “Excellent selection of books, toys, and music which am attached cafe (Starbucks). This B&N had plenty of material for me to browse while waiting for my airline flight.
Staff was very friendly and maybe it’s standard now but only negative was lack of seating (some benches by the magazines or the cafe itself). Overall I highly recommend“

“My husband and I stopping for his birthday. It was our first time there. We are from New York and we know good Pizza. This did not disappoint! “My husband and I tried Antonio’s for the first time for lunch today and we are absolutely obsessed. I had the Gyro with salad and Potato’s and it’s the best gyro I’ve ever had. (Not to mention how good the salad and potatoes are!) It has a great Atmosphere and the gentleman was very welcoming and helpful when picking out our food. He even helped us pick out a traditional Greek dessert that was so delicious! I highly, highly recommend trying it for yourself!“

“Dined at Ginger tonight. Walked in at 6:45 and was able to get a table by the bar. Thank you to the ending of the tourist season. Mason was our server and he was superb which I rarely say about service in Anchorage. He was attentive and provided good suggestions. Our water vessel was never empty too long and our dirty dishes did not stay on the table but a moment. As usual the Strawberry Salad, my personal fav, was delicious, the fries and Wasabi Aoli a tasty staple, the Halibut was moist and flavorful, and the fried chicken always a favorite. Mason suggested the Espresso Martini flavored like banana bread which was dangerously good and a new favorite to add to the list. Apparently the table next to us agreed as they must have had 4 or 5 each! Next time I won't be driving!“

“The fried chicken sandwich is good (but it tasted like fish). I really liked the Boba fizzy soda. The mac and cheese tasted like Annie's boxed mac and cheese. Don't bother paying for it. You can make it at home. The caramel apple bread pudding is heavenly!! Portion sizes are good! I had leftovers.“

“The culinary arts students at UAA have a restaurant where they put their learned knowledge to the test in a restaurant setting called Lucy's.
It was a delicious 3-course lunch with a salad, entree, and a dessert buffet. You get to give feedback to the students afterwards so they can improve.
Awesome food and atmosphere to enjoy with friends at the end of the Spring semester. You must sign up and reserve online.“

“Very clean restaurant and great service. I ordered the burger and brew salad and it was the tastiest, fresh salad I had in a long time. It tasted home made and I will be back for more. I also tried the blueberry lager and it was delicious and compliments the salad perfectly!“

“Terrible service, brought friends from outside of state and it was embarrassing after telling them what a "great" place. Halibut was over cooked and too much batter. The waitress made a RUDE remark about a server who dropped a plate of food. We were basically ignored. It wasn't even busy, mid-afternoon. SORRY, I still have gift cards to spend because I don't really want to go back. disappointed 😞“

“Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 The sushi rolls were huge, raw fish wasn’t smelly, entrees were big including the kids plate (bento style). I found the prices very fair especially comparing them to Basil Ginger in the valley. We didn’t order a single roll over $20 and our favorite cooked one (spider) was only $15. The restaurant was pretty packed yet our food came out surprisingly fast for how many people were dining in. The waitress was on FIRE. Running around making sure everyone was good. She also gave us dessert at the end for free. Maybe it’s a thing but we were highly flattered and appreciative! It was great to eat at a clean establishment that also checked allll the other boxes too. My kids and I got up to leave and both noted “this place deserves a shining review!”. Highly recommend 🙂“

“This was an incredible dining experience. We ordered hot Chai, with Palak Paneer and Garlic Naan bread. I’m a typical American that likes safe foods and rarely steps out of comfort zones. I was very pleased with my meal and will CERTAINLY be eating here again. The atmosphere was very calming and romantic. This is a father and son ran restaurant. If you want a wholesome experience with an equally satisfying and delicious meal, eat here without hesitation.“

“So I'm here for work and I'm feeling cold, and thinking about hiking in the Himalayas and staying at tea houses, and really craving soup and hot chai, and omg there's a Nepalese restaurant right here! “Anchorage is not where you go for gourmet meals. This is the first thing you need to know about this beautiful coastal town. Gwinnie's, however, is where you go for some of the best comfort food in the territory. Great staff, really eclectic decor and atmosphere. Food was some of the best we had found in our 3 day stay downtown.“
