“We LOVE El Pastor! The food is delicious whether we eat in or get it to go and the service is great! We ate there tonight and ordered a quesadilla and taco salads. The quesadilla came out a little well done, but we weren't going to complain about it. Maybe 5 minutes later they brought out a replacement and even put the other one in a togo box so we could take it home. We'll definitely be back, but then, we usually eat here at least once a week! 😊“

“The food looked soo good and I was so hungry, I forgot to take a picture. I got stewed chicken with cabbage, white rice and plantain. This was amazing. It was sweet with a hit a spice. The pepper and onions added even more flavor. The plantain cooked to perfection, I wish I would’ve gotten more. I also got the bread pudding. Let me tell you guys, I don’t even like bread pudding too much but THIS !!!! It was soo good. The slight crunch from the top with the smooth inside and the caramel drizzle. TAKE ME AWAY NOW !! I also got the hibiscus drink , it was sweet. I wish it had a hint of lemon or lime to contrast the sweetness. My fiancé got the Jerk Chicken Sandwich which I liked , I just wish it had a hint of spice like the chicken did and some peppers just to give it some contrast. Overall, everything was a 10 out of 10 for me. It was the best thing I’ve had in Alaska & I’ve lived here for almost a year. I know there more to see but this is definitely a place you want to go to if you can !!“

“I’ve traveled extensively across the United States and tried countless pizzas, but after living in Eagle River for nine years, Great Alaska Pizza Co. will always be my top choice whenever I return to visit. Although many people have come and gone from the store since I was younger, my family has a special connection there—we were well-known among the staff. Each visit brings back a sense of being home, and it’s something we truly cherish.

The food is consistently delicious, and I find myself missing it whenever I have to order from elsewhere. Their Hawaiian pizza with mushrooms is simply unbeatable!“

“We came to Jimmy’s Sushi for the first time in years… I don’t know why we forgot about this gem! Everything we ordered was delicious! You know the food is good when your pre-schooler avoids the rice for the rest of his bento box! I ordered the Penang curry after recommendations from the server that it was gluten free and it was delectable! My husband has his typical favorite, the General Tso and thoroughly enjoyed it. The knowledgeable staff to accommodate my need for gluten free food was impressive and SO appreciated. I’m ready to come back to Jimmy’s asap.“
