“I’ve been a steady customer since this cafe opened. Their food is delicious! Not one bad item on their menu. The coffee is very good as well, but more importantly, this has to be the friendliest of any restaurant I’ve been to. They go out of their way to help you. There’s plenty of seating (they have a back room for overflow). The atmosphere is homey and very clean. If you’re a first time customer, you’ll be hooked and come again and again and . . .”

“The food looked soo good and I was so hungry, I forgot to take a picture. I got stewed chicken with cabbage, white rice and plantain. This was amazing. It was sweet with a hit a spice. The pepper and onions added even more flavor. The plantain cooked to perfection, I wish I would’ve gotten more. I also got the bread pudding. Let me tell you guys, I don’t even like bread pudding too much but THIS !!!! It was soo good. The slight crunch from the top with the smooth inside and the caramel drizzle. TAKE ME AWAY NOW !! I also got the hibiscus drink , it was sweet. I wish it had a hint of lemon or lime to contrast the sweetness. My fiancé got the Jerk Chicken Sandwich which I liked , I just wish it had a hint of spice like the chicken did and some peppers just to give it some contrast. Overall, everything was a 10 out of 10 for me. It was the best thing I’ve had in Alaska & I’ve lived here for almost a year. I know there more to see but this is definitely a place you want to go to if you can !!”

“As I’m sitting here eating my left over pho, because one dish is definitely two meals, I think to myself dam this is delicious; I need to write a review. Thus here we are. I found them accidentally and ordered Panang chicken curry and pho tai. Both were bangers. The price is super affordable for the amount of food you get. The quality and flavor is 🤌🏼. Love that the pho noodles are separate from the broth when getting Togo so it’s not soggy. Also the amount of meat they give was surprising. I would highly recommend giving them a try. We will be back for sure.

“Every night is different at homies. The bartenders are incredible, security is looking out for you, and the djs always produce the best jams. Plus no sticky floors!

Parking: Bit of a free for all but always able to find a spot.

“We came to Jimmy’s Sushi for the first time in years… I don’t know why we forgot about this gem! Everything we ordered was delicious! You know the food is good when your pre-schooler avoids the rice for the rest of his bento box! I ordered the Penang curry after recommendations from the server that it was gluten free and it was delectable! My husband has his typical favorite, the General Tso and thoroughly enjoyed it. The knowledgeable staff to accommodate my need for gluten free food was impressive and SO appreciated. I’m ready to come back to Jimmy’s asap.”

“Absolutely love this place. The girls are always amazing. They so friendly and always ask where my dogs are when I don’t bring them. They always make our drinks perfectly and my husband has a complicated drink and they nail it every time. I can’t recommend this place enough. I always ask for a surprise lotus and I have never had one I don’t love. Thanks for always putting a smile on my face and making me feel welcomed.”

Even when they are jam packed, their service is quick, everyone’s nice, and you feel like you’re home. So if you haven’t checked this place out yet you need to!”

“When Papa John Schnatter started this company, this location was the type of franchise he dreamed about. The pizza and staff were both stellar and this definitely will not be our first visit to this little spot in Eagle River. Whoever was working Sunday night, the 2nd of June, deserves a high five and a raise. Speedy, efficient, and courteous.Thank you for making pizza and movie night that much better!”
