What an adorable little place! We stopped by for lunch and coffee after a nice hike. The outside looks an old saloon. It seems small when you go in but is actually much bigger. They all sorts of baked goods, coffee and teas. Staff was wonderfully sweet and did an amazing job. The restaurant was clean and unique. Not much parking though. Definitely worth a stop. Try the egg nog chai
One of the legends. Sleepy Dog boasts a longevity of over 30 years, making them the oldest coffee shop in Eagle River. An old rustic building that's most inviting, it looks a bit small upon entering, but there are cool little nooks hidden throughout. Especially the secret dining area in the back. It may be small, but it's intimate.
