I was hesitant to visit Garcia's, I'd never heard of it by word of mouth or in a commercial or anything. However, I loaded the family up, and we drove from Anchorage to ER.From the second we walked in, I felt welcome and appreciated as a customer. The food came quick, hot, and delicious. The atmosphere is a bit much, very loud in volume and visual.Will definitely be back.
One of the best restaurants in eagle river. All of the staff are friendly and super helpful and the general atmosphere is warm and welcoming. There is live music sometimes and they provide a beer truck at events around town. The food is good but not the world's best. But what it lacks in flavor is made up in quick turnaround and large quantities for a reasonable price. Definitely an eagle river staple!!

I don’t head out of Anchorage much but this place was a great find in Eagle River! Very good food and excellent service. We got free chips and salsa, a free refill on our horchata, and constant check-ins from our waitress. I got the carne asada tacos with beans and rice while my partner got the carne asada chimichanga with beans and rice. We also got the Sampler Appetizer which is a MUST. Please check these guys out as they also have live music!
