“We went for brunch. It's a very small place. Interesting menu with some tasty sounding options but almost nothing for gluten-free patrons. So I went for the miso-corn soup. It sounded odd but was surprisingly delightful. The service was very good.”

“We took the one-hour Portage Glacier cruise and had a fantastic time—it was the perfect family outing! On the ride to the glacier, we were lucky enough to spot a mountain goat and an eagle. Our captain even brought us up close to a beautiful waterfall along the way, which was a nice surprise. At the glacier, we had plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the stunning views. One highlight was when the staff scooped up a piece of floating glacier ice for everyone to see and touch—such a cool moment! The entire crew was friendly, professional, and clearly cared about our experience. The boat was clean and comfortable, with great viewing areas both indoors on the lower level and outside on the upper deck. We felt safe and well taken care of the whole time. Highly recommend this cruise for anyone visiting the area!”

Also, dining guests enjoy a complimentary tram ride to the summit, adding breathtaking views. The menu currently features a three- or four-course dinner selection, showcasing fine ingredients and proper preparation. We indulged in the Filet of Beef, cooked to a flawless tenderness, and the Honey-Glazed King Salmon, perfectly balanced with sweetness and a buttery texture. Each dish exemplified care, and the appreciation for quality cuisine.
Beyond the exceptional food, the service was warm and attentive, ensuring every detail contributed to a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. “Stopped in for a quick drive around Girdwood on my way back to ANC to catch my flight today. found this gem of a restaurant. I enjoyed a Guinness and one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! love the battered fries cooked extra crispy (thank you for that!). I had the Jalapeño Burger and it's so nice to get something that has a little bite back. Legit 1/2lb of goodness between fresh veggies and a huge dollop of kicked up cream cheese. Great flavor. Can't hardly wait to come back and try the Wild Game Burger if it is still on the menu next summer.”

“We have been to the spa many times now and the bistro and cafe is such a highlight. The food is exceptional, with a diverse drink menu that is updated and somehow keeps improving. This time the red wine selection was the best it’s ever been with selections you don’t see at your typical restaurant. The staff there is professional, friendly and eager to make the experience just as elevated as the spa. Debra is our personal favorite! Witty, funny and personable. She’s been there each time and we always look forward to catching up.”
