“Me and my son went to try out this restaurant. Best fusion food that I ever had. We both had The 3 Amigo's, which are 3 different taco's . They were amazing. I recommend Seoul Casa hands down. Try it you will not be disappointed.“
“Pretty extensive menu for an 'express' restaurant! Great (and very large) burritos, served hot and fast, with tortilla chips on the side. At this location, there isn't lots of seating, but the food is the star, not the space.“
“We like this little place! The people are great and they're fast and delicious. It's kind of tucked away and it isn't fancy but I love that they let you serve your own salsa, sour cream, and guac. It's really a decent price too. It's kind of become our "quick bite nearly" place.“
“We were greeted and seated promptly. Food was ordered shortly after and arrived quickly. This has to be the best Mexican restaurant in Anchorage. I have tried the others but the flavor isn't their like it is at El Dorado. We will definitely be coming back.“
“Easy to miss hole-in-the-wall location, but the food was excellent, with a very authentic Mexican taste. Fair prices and decent service despite being a little understaffed. I'll definitely keep this place in mind next time I'm in the mood for Mexican food!“
“I love this Taco King off of Abbott & 88th. It's directly next-door to Jersey Mike's subs. They use locally made tortillas (which are incredible) and I love watching them put together their tacos! They give their soft corn tortillas in a quick dip in the incredible stock they make, then onto the griddle where they come out with such a perfect texture! I've had dry, fall-apart tortillas even when visiting Tucson, but here we are in the Great White North and these tacos ROCK! I also like the condiment area with everything from Pico De Gallo, to blended salsas (hot, medium or mild), sour cream, etc. You choose what you want and put it into the little containers they provide. If you're lucky, you'll time it when they're adding their fresh roasted/spiced jalapeños to the salsa bar. My favorite tacos are probably their chicken, but everyone I've tried has been great. Their soup is also YUMMY!“
“Nobody’s a perfect 5 star…. especially in Muldoon! But this little place always delivers. Carlos and his staff are stellar. Waters and chips are always full without asking. This is my families choice for Mexican this side of Gambel St.. Great Mexican beer choice with some of the frostiest glasses in town. Food has never disappointed but some dishes are certainly their specialties and worth revisiting. Their verde sauce is magic.“
“I was hungry. Google maps showed this place was close. No drive up, just a little counter inside the front door and a couple of cooks. Cash only. I had a ten, so went with the Verde burrito. Steak, at the recommendation of the house. Spicy, yes please. Paid and tipped and waited in the nice weather outside. 3 minutes later, they called out Steak Verde, and it was hot, spicy and steak-y. Waaay better than stopping at Taco Bell, bigger burrito, and fresher too.Vegetarian options: Can get saladsParking: Gravel parking lot.“
“Absolutely, everything I've eated here has blessed every tastbud I have. Fresh ingredients and fully seasoned food. The salsas are a delicious addition to add to every dish, I suggest trying both the mild and spicy. I would go as far as saying it's the best Mexican food in Anchorage.“
“This place is full of LOVE!! Taste and service is just like the "No longer" Lamex!! Went here (Pancho's) for first time for lunch and it was GREAT!! Your Waitress is super great too! You don't get Service and food like this now days!! U Do here! 10 Stars!! Gallo's Sucks! Pancho's is AWESOME!!!!Kid-friendliness: Had boosters for our kids. Great service and Great food!! 10 stars!!“
“This place was fantastic. I’m not usually out too often for lunch but even as they started picking up more costumers our waitress was very attentive as was the rippey lady. And yes they have pull tabs fantastic drinks where great. food was a bit crispy for my liking but the authenticity of this Mexican restaurant was on point as far as I know(I’m Alaskan) lol“
“The food is delicious, and the portions are generous. The atmosphere and food is much more like a family-owned restaurant than a fast food chain (despite the drive-thru). Reminds me of my years in Ensenada and Tijuana. A little pricey though. Still, well worth it.“
“The Burrito ? is very good. I suggest the pulled pork, best in Anchorage. The chips and salsa are great. Chips actually have flavor. Only complaint is no slices of lime or lemon, which is a must for bringing out the maximum flavor of the Burrito, and any true Mexican restaurant would have thm.“
“I thought I would give theses guys a try with Doordash. Food arrived quick, ample portions, authentic Mexican food, outstanding taste and food prep. Completely satisfied, Xalos just earned a regular customer, Damn good food, I will be back for sure. Because I am full and happy.“
“Taco King on Boniface is my new favorite restaurant. They have the best Puzole in Anchorage. Also they are the friendliest Taco King in Anchorage. Greeted with a kind smile and super fast service. Our new place for a date to eat excellent Mexican food. Thanks guys!!“
“Benny's Food Wagon, the Mexican food truck in Anchorage, Alaska, is a delightful culinary oasis that offers a unique experience, just like the unexpected twists in life, such as the collapse of the Soviet Union and my recent car trouble. The food at Benny's is a fusion of flavors that reflects the cultural diversity we encounter in our journey through life. The collapse of the Soviet Union, a historic event, is a reminder that change can happen suddenly, much like the surprise and inconvenience of my car breaking down.As I savored the delicious tacos and burritos, I couldn't help but appreciate the resilience and adaptability that life demands. The staff at Benny's were exceptionally understanding and accommodating, much like the people who navigated through the challenges of the post-Soviet era.The warm atmosphere and friendly service at the food truck were a pleasant surprise, much like the support and assistance I received when my car encountered problems. In conclusion, Benny's Food Wagon is a culinary gem that, much like the unexpected events in life, has the power to turn a challenging situation into an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend stopping by for a taste of their mouthwatering Mexican cuisine, and perhaps, like me, you'll find some meaningful connections to life's unpredictable journey.“
“Their mango margarita was very delicious and good! I ordered the 3 chicken taquitos with rice and beans and tasted amazing! On top of being so hungry I devoured my plate. Can't wait to go back and try other good food I saw on the menu! The service was great. The ladies serving us were very nice and patient with us.“
“This was my first time to Taco King at this location, as I normally go to the one off Abbott. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. The person at the front counter greeted us when we walked in the door, made some great recommendations, and the food was quick!“
“My first time here. Ordered a loaded burrito for lunch for 12 dollars plus 15 percent tip. It was huge and very tasty so I ate the whole thing. I was so full that I skipped dinner that day.I forgot my hat and left it at the restaurant. The kind customer service staff saved my hat for me. I was able to retrieve my hat. Thank you.Truthfully, with the generous portion, one loaded burrito at Burrito Heaven is the equivalent of two burritos made from home. The profit margin is not that high for the outfit. The three customer service staff are like angels, doing their community service, even taking the time to look after my lost wool hat. Thank you so much!“
“I'm a Mexican food nut/aficionado who has lived in Anchorage since 1978; have sampled pretty much every Mexican restaurant in town and have frequently patronized 2-3 of them over the years. My go to place is now Los Arcos, where they serve up the most flavorful meals, largest portions...and the best margaritas in town. Marinades, seasonings and sauces are dialed-in to perfection, leading to exceptionally tasty and well balanced flavors. This is a small family operation; they offer friendly, warmhearted and efficient service in an attractive environment.“
“Even though I like So-Cal I'm not really a authentic Mexican food lover. I like Burrito King because are more American/Mex and they have very good spiced ground beef as well as tasty other options. They did a major update to their dining are, it's definitely a great improvement, looks nice and the food it still great!“
“I love Rush Espresso. I have been going there for my coffee for about 3 years now. It is conveniently located en route to my job and I love that they have Italian Cafe d'arte coffee. I like to order a decaf blueberry white chocolate mocha there. Fast, reliable service made my nice people.“
“The food was amazing! How cute they bring your fries in a mini fryer basket. Great, comfortable atmosphere, and the staff was phenomenol.Parking: The large parking lot, back-side of the building from NL, has plenty of space to park and a safe main entrance from the lot.“
“We ordered chips & barria tacos and oh my- it reminded me of the tacos I've eaten in Texas and those were amazing! The flavor was there, as I'm sure most of yall know there's Alaska "standards" and this was above that!? I will come here to try more items again!“
“I can always find what I need for my mexican home cooking. They have pan dulce which is delicioso! I always preorder fresh conchas for Christmas from them. They now sell tamales at the counter. This store reminds me of the Mexican grocery stores in Texas.“
