Oscar's Taco Grande | Mexican Food is an unassuming spot that serves up the best Mexican food in Anchorage. The food is good, with all super fresh ingredients. The steak tacos on soft corn tortillas come with rice and beans, and the steak is seasoned perfectly with zero gristle. The hot sauce is on point. The #3 Lunch Plate Combo is available, and the refried frijoles are the best in town, with a ferried sloppy part containing some whole beans. The arroz is well seasoned and tasty. The taco beef in the small burrito and enchilada is second to none. The verde burrito with steak is a favorite, and the breakfast burritos are fantastic too. The service is fast, pleasant, and very efficient. It is a little permanent food truck/shack with no eat in option, located on a big empty lot by itself in an industrial part of town. The prices are great.
