Taco King Reviews
Food poisoned at the Boniface Taco King March 10th, 2025. I think the open sauces haven't been changed in a while, or the shrimp was bad in my burrito. I threw up multiple times throughout the night into the next morning. Laid in bed all day March 11th I haven't eaten in 24hrs. It's now March 12th, and I'm still on fluids only. A little bit of false advertising because there was not one King there, but many Kings. carne asada was delicious.
Delicious and Delicioso !’ Fast friendly service, with a stunning view of the Anchorage mountains. Amazing Birria qualifies as the best north of the Rio Grande, and this Mexican traveling well over forty years back and fro Mexico and Cebtral and South America knows his way around Mexican and Latin cuisine.

Taco King is a friendly restaurant with excellent service and a focus on food safety. The staff is accommodating to dietary restrictions and allergies, ensuring a safe and pleasant dining experience. The Mexican dishes like posole, cheese enchiladas, and carnitas tacos are delicious and reminiscent of homemade meals. The chicken taco salad and chicken chimichanga are prepared perfectly, and the horchata is the best in town. The portions could be bigger, but the quality and taste make up for it. Some customers have reported food safety concerns, so the restaurant is working to improve. The dining area could use modernization, and the bathroom has an odor that affects the experience. A must-visit for Mexican food lovers in Alaska!
