Nice resturent
The culinary arts students at UAA have a restaurant where they put their learned knowledge to the test in a restaurant setting called Lucy's.
It was a delicious 3-course lunch with a salad, entree, and a dessert buffet. You get to give feedback to the students afterwards so they can improve.
Awesome food and atmosphere to enjoy with friends at the end of the Spring semester. You must sign up and reserve online.
The culinary department developed a Cannabis class called CannaBasics. It’s hands down the best class I have ever taken at UAA. I am looking forward to UAA being more progressive and offering more classes of this kind.

Lucy's at the University of Alaska Anchorage is a restaurant operated by the culinary arts students, where they put their knowledge to the test in a real-life setting. The restaurant offers a delicious three-course lunch, including a salad, entree, and a dessert buffet. Customers can provide feedback to the students to help them improve their skills.
The atmosphere at Lucy's is described as awesome, with a more high-end feel, despite the cafeteria-style setting. The students are dressed professionally, and the menu features a great selection of higher-end items. Customers particularly enjoyed the desserts, such as the Lady Palmer and Black cherry chocolate cake, which were praised for their exemplary quality.
While the meals may be on the pricier side, considering it's a student-run lab and not a fully operational restaurant, the overall experience is described as a fun and unique learning opportunity for the culinary students. Customers are encouraged to fill out comment cards to provide valuable feedback and help the students improve.
