“From the moment we entered customer service was amazing. Mariah our server always checked on us and made sure we were okay. The food was amazing. We couldn’t finish it and brought it home. It was more food then expected and it’s well worth the money. Will definitely go back“
“The food here is absolutely incredible and absolute quality. It’s a small restaurant so you may have a wait but worth every moment of wait. I would wait 2 hours to eat here. Service is friendly. Atmosphere is super chic. Nothing we have ordered has been less that exceptional. The food is well portioned and inventive. Just an overall fun and good experience!“
“We eat at the Bistro frequently and have tried most of the menu items. Last night I had a the 8-Oz filet, done to perfection, with garlic mashed potatoes and fresh veggies. My wife had the pork schnitzel, which was also amazing. Top that off with a great Caesar salad and a glass or two of Alexander Valley a cab (for me), and a sauv blanc for my wife. Jens always comes through with great offerings. Also, the wait staff have been there a long time, which says something about the loyalty and integrity of the restaurant. It's definitely our go to place in Anchorage for quality dining.“
“Excellent Food. Great service and uniquely Different. We enjoyed every bit I had Filet Mignon. And My husband enjoyed the Venison Appetizer was smoked salmon with Belini and caviar. Dessert menu was also excellent. I would say this is a 5 Star. Restaurant. For sure.“
“Altura Bistro (Anchorage)This is my first review and first time eating at Altura. I would describe it as a seafood and steakhouse . You get free bread and butter. Which were yummy , the bread was warm, soft and fluffy and the butter was whipped with black salt. The service was excellent. The servers were attentive and the food came fast and perfectly timed. Such as we finished the bread , the app came , we finished the app, the entrees came .We ordered ....Drinks : wine based cocktails. It was a good drink and squeeze the lime in the drink and it's betterappetizer : pork belly .Pork belly has crispy ends and juicy inside. It was on top of a bed of cabbages that had vinegary dressing.Entree: chicken confit . I liked the ravioli and the chicken was cooked perfectly with crispy skin. It was saltier than I liked.New York steak . Cooked perfectly to medium rare and delicious . It came with potatoes.Dessert: creme brulee . It comes with a garlic crumble but it tastes like chocolate which was nice !Overall a 4.5/5 rating . Would come back again“
“Amazing food (we had the bread appetizer and then the burger and the rotisserie chicken), delicious house-brewed cream soda, and super friendly staff. Very good visit and I'm sure we'll be back again.Parking: Free parking would be difficult to find, must park at a meter on the street or a paid lot.“
“Stopped in for a quick bite and beer and wow, what a great place! Table next to us was enjoying some of the largest crab legs I’ve seen served. We had the lobster dip with some of the yummiest bread I’ve had in a long time. Lots of local beers, cans, bottles and tap. Owner catted with us and she is so friendly and engaging. We will return for more than a quick bite next time! SUPPORT LOCAL! #cajuncorneranchorage“
“Wonderful experience overall was blown away by the appetizer plate! I wasn't sure that the portions would be worth the money, let alone the food, but it certainly is and I would easily get it again. My partner and I had both had the Orso Occo Buco, it was some of the best food I've had in a while. Fall off the bone with no shortage of food to go around. I got the Italians in Washington wine flight and it was smooth and easy on the palate for red wine. I really enjoyed how I got a card with what to expect and pair the wines with as well. Fairly cheap wines from the same company but tasted great nonetheless.“
“My friend brought me to go food from Hometown tonight. I have had many Korean food places in my day all over the nation, and Hometown had some of the freshiest most authetic Korean I have tasted. The sauce for the Budae Jjigae was so flavorful and delicious. Portion size and prices are spot on as well. If you like fresh, authetic, and flavorful Korean food that hits the spot. You have got to try this place!!“
“Love, Love, Love Taste of India! I was very pleased with the atmosphere, food and customer service. We ordered — Tandoori Mixed Grill, Chicken Bhuna and Chicken Tikka Masala. The food was very flavorful and filling. I highly recommend the Chicken Bhuna (medium spice) the spices helped clear my sinuses and was so soooo good! The Tikka Masala (medium) was also good, but I felt like it was more mild than medium heat but still very good. Looks like i’ll have to order a spice level up! I really loved that they are generous with their portions. We’ve been to a couple other Indian style restaurants and they always give us more curry than actual meat.Overall, the experience was pleasant, customer service was nice and I think the Tandoori Shrimp is on my dishes to try next time I’m here :)“
“My husband loves sushi so we visited this place, it was a little hide, from the front looks like it’s closed. The food was incredible, the chef was so attentive with us in every moment. The only thing we didn’t enjoyed much was this woman (maybe his wife?) singing very loud some karaoke all the time and then talking (almost screaming because of the volume of the music) with someone else in the phone, that was not comfortable. Other than that the chef did an amazing job with our food, it felt really authentic.“
“Love this place but they changed the menu. Got rid of the crab nugget bites, which literally one of the main reasons I went. The crab Rangoon they replaced them with are pretty terrible. Strong fishy taste (makes me think old crab?) and weird texture.“
“Love this restaurant. Eat here whenever we drive into Anchorage. Their black cod is the best I've ever eaten. Also tried the pork belly appetizer which is delicious. We've never had a bad meal here. Ian was our server and he was so very nice and helpful.“
