“Just had a wonderful meal. Gyoza were outstanding. So was the pork belly, roasted black cod and sashimi platter. Please keep in mind that this is a one man operation. Sam the owner/chef/server does it all, and was a wonderful host. Best for small groups , call at 5 and make a reservation and don’t be on any rush. Truly a taste of small town Japan.“

“I didn’t take a picture but the grilled salmon dinner with broccoli and onion rings was delicious. Looked great, arrived hot. My husband ordered the grilled halibut with rice and asparagus. Really good! Best fish I’ve had in Alaska in 3 years.“

“Food and service was excellent!! My only gripe is the wine list which is small and uninspiring.“

“Dine in after a concert. Service was fast & wait staff friendly. Food-Alaska Smoked Salmon Dip w/GF crackers, Kale Winter Salad, Creme Brulee & Flourless Chocolate cake. All delicious!!! The only minute criticism-the Late Nite menus were not up to date. We ended up with two out-dated versions & needed to order from the full menu.
Dietary restrictions: If you ask, they can usually accommodate GF.“

“great atmosphere and friendly service, food is always delicious.“
“Excellent food and atmosphere in one of the best locations downtown! From food to service you will not be disappointed.“
“The crab stuffed halibut was amazing. The prime rib was served cold, but they made efforts to correct it quickly. management and staff were very polite & knowledgeable of timing & service this is an old-school restaurant but worth the stop, especially if you can sit during sunset and at a table with a view“

“Great Asian buffet! Every bit as good and nearly half the price of the other two I go to in Anchorage. Our hostess was so sweet and attentive. I turned my head once to help my sore neck... she thought I needed something and came right over. We shared a laugh when I told her. My girlfriend has put this place first on our Asian food list.
Kid-friendliness: I saw a family with two kids and the kids were eating lots.
Wheelchair accessibility: You can wheel right in the door from the parking area.“

“What's not to love? Chef Nate and his crew are 10 for 10 turning out high-end, interesting gourmet food. Their takeout menu is the best!! Run, don't walk to Altura.“

“Local dive bar with a decent amount of variety on the menu -- not just fried food or burgers. I got the reindeer meatloaf and that was good. Was with a group of people who ordered everything from fish & chips to fish tacos to a burger. No complaints from anyone.“

“After a small hiccup with wait staff assignment, everyone pulled together to make this diner very happy. VERY good dirty martini to start. I ordered the 3-course with clam chowder (very good - plenty of clams!), prime rib (excellent!), and créme brûlée (also excellent!).“

“What really had this place is the service. The service was very top tier compared to the other korean restaurants here in Anchorage. Very friendly and inviting. The food was good too. Thought it was weird that it was frozen but it worked for the BBQ grill. The right amount of side dishes were there as well. The atmosphere was almost. Just needs to feel more kdrama like when entering haha.“

“The best avocado smoothie!!“
“The food had good taste and flavor, and the bartender was friendly and had good recommendations. The atmosphere was chill and just what was needed after a Monday-like-Tuesday, I'll be returning again in the future :)
Technical notes: Food came in a timely manner, attentive staff, and the venue offered a relaxing atmosphere where the music wasn't too loud but just loud enough for general conversation. Utilities were clean and well kept.“
“Breakfast was included with my Platinum Bonvoy Marriott status. The buffet was good. Bacon strips are well cooked and not too dry. There is a station to get eggs, omelette and waffle made to order. There is some fruits but not that much. I prefer when the bread buffet have more choices of grains cereal bread. Here many white plain bread or beige plain bread (not much grains there...). So only 4 stars because of lack of interesting breads here.“

“I couldn't find this place at first driving in the area and then found it in the Lakefront Lodge. There are so many windows and the view is spectacular, even in snow, ice and overcast conditions. All the staff were very friendly. I ordered the Alaskan seafood benedict with a side of fruit and it was very delicious. Relaxing, enjoyable breakfast. ($4 for hot tea {Lipton} is a bit high is the only drawback.)
Parking: The parking lot is shared with the hotel.“

“As visitors to Anchorage we weren't sure where to go. Stumbled on this place during a snow storm. The woman that owns and operates is dedicated to getting the place going. Lots of outdoor seating, so, when the good weather comes it will be popular.“
“Muse was a great place to take a break and have a snack or light meal while visiting the many exhibits and floors of the Anchorage Museum. It's run by Crush Wine Bistro which is one of the nicer restaurants in town nearby so you're definitely getting a local, nice fare while at the museum.
There are a handful of vegetarian options including 2 salads, baked make and cheese, falafel, a grilled cheese sandwich, and a couple of bowls. So a decent amount of things to choose from along with wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks galore.
My wife and I shared the goat cheese salad which we thought was really fresh, good, and hearty enough for the two of us...especially when I added the grilled cheese sandwich...a very slightly upscale version of a basic grilled cheese with American cheese...no bells or whistles here, possibly a tiny bit saltier than I would have liked it to be...but not over-buttered...it was almost like it was very lightly grilled or baked even so, despite it being a grilled cheese, it felt a little bit healthier.
You order at the counter and they bring you your food into the dining area which had plenty of comfortable places to sit.
I don't know that we would head to Muse on it's own, but it was a perfect and satisfying place to go while visiting the museum.“

“We have been here several times and have always enjoyed our meals! We ordered the firecracker for an appetizer and it was amazing! We came in hungry after traveling for the day and we were quickly seated and taken care of. Our waiter was amazing and didn’t even have to write anything down when we ordered and we ordered 8 different sushi rolls. While we were waiting for our rolls to come out our waiter brought us all a cup of Miso soup and added rice to the miso for our kids which was very thoughtful. He also brought my husband and I a cup of salad that was also very fresh tasting. My husband ordered a coke and it came in a glass with the good pebble ice so that was a nice touch as well.
Our favorite rolls are the kiss of fire, 911, and the crunch. The crunch is great for kids, our kids devoured them. The kiss of fire is huge - comes with a lot of poki tuna on top that you could add to your other rolls as you’re eating.
We will definitely come back when we come to anchorage. Don’t let the outside fool you - this place is well done on the interior!
Kid-friendliness: Our waiter was amazing with our kids - super helpful and friendly. Brought the kids miso soup with rice.“

“The food was very good a bit spendy but in my opinion worth the cost. Me and a group prefer the fried buns over the steamed ones. The server was kind and sweet. The place was a little loud from a fairly big party talking, other than that nice place to enjoy a good meal.
Vegetarian options: Most of the dishes have a opt-out of meat for tofu. Although I don't know how many vegan/vegetarian dishes they have.
Kid-friendliness: See how little room there is I wouldn't say no, but not much room to play/run around.
Parking: There is a limited amount of parking seeing other stores are connected.
Wheelchair accessibility: There aren't automatic doors. But I don't see why you could eat there, maybe a little maneuver to get it but it would depend size and space needed.
Dietary restrictions: I have no clue but I'm sure they would most likely try to work with you.“

“I am so impressed with not only the quality of the food that I ordered, but also with the Customer Service I received when picking up my online order yesterday. I had never been to Sullivan's before and didn't realize there wasn't a "designated" Order pick-up spot. I was not "able" to find a spot to park, or walk the distance, which was too far with my disability. The Hostess I spoke with on the phone ( I failed to get her name) said "where are you, I will bring it TO you". This is Top Level Customer Service in my opinion, especially since I didn't ask, she immediately offered. It was pretty busy (traffic wise )out and I really feel like posting a Review was needed. Because oftentimes, a "Thank you" may be said, but more people should know how truly nice and accommodating someone has been. She's a Gem of an employee and I hope her Manager sees this. She's worth paying more and definitely keeping around! Again, Thank you for making my 1st order at Sullivan's, Excellent!! 5/5! 8.14.24.“

“Amazing food, amazing experience ! Mariah was awesome, giving us a whole run down of the menu, and getting us prepped to experience everything. She made sure we had enough to eat, giving us recommendations and tips as the evening went on. She even made sure we got our to go bag that we left at our table! Amazing! Highly recommend.“
