“Randall and Nikola made us feel right at home here for our very first meal in Seward! Both my dad and I had the signature fish and chips with delightfully deep fried halibut and salmon pieces and delicious fries. House made tartar and aioli were knock-outs! Only bummer was no dessert but Randall was quick to point us towards some ice cream right down the street!“

Seward Brewing Company Brewery • $$

“Great- Chicken sandwich, fries,service, vibe.
Not great- $9 for mini salad, beer lacked depth of flavor.

We stopped by here for a bite to eat and I got a beer. I ordered the chicken sandwich which came with fries. The sandwich was excellent. The fries were very good. I would highly recommend ordering that again. My wife got a salad which was $9 and it was extremely small. Maybe that's just an Alaskan thing and they don't grow their own vegetables but it seemed extremely overpriced. I do know this is a tourist town and it's tourist season so all prices are inflated. I got a beer, the weis beer. I've drank a lot of micro brews and unfortunately many Brewers suffer from this problem where they don't really get that depth of flavor that I'm looking for and that was the case with this. It wasn't a bad beer, it just wasn't a what I would consider a good beer. I like the vibe of this place. It was actually packed with all sorts of people. Most likely tourists and they were doing a good business. Service was excellent. I might go back here again for that chicken sandwich and fries. I wish that they had a dark beer since it is fall and they didn't have any dark beer on their current offerings so hopefully hopefully this is helpful.“

“I don’t get out much. But this might be the best food I’ve ever had. We split the 3lb mixed crab with a side of fries and rice. We absolutely did not finish everything but wow was the crab incredible. Just prepare to be MESSY! I didn’t see any wet wipes so I made a couple trips to wash my hands during dinner. Today was our “splurge” day for food on our vacation. The food we got was definitely worth the splurge.“
