About Hightide Coffee

Tucked inside a hotel on the ground level, Hightide Coffee is a small, grab-and-go style spot with a walk-up counter on the street and a little seating area outside, plus more inside. It can be a tight squeeze with 4-5 people, and there isn’t much space to sit, so it’s more for quick stops than spending hours. The coffee was good, with one reviewer calling it delicious and another, a self-described coffee connoisseur, highly recommending the salt, iced coffee, three shots extra salt. The apple muffin was called “the best muffin I’ve had in my life,” and a ham and cheddar croissant and snickers frappe were both delicious, reasonably priced, and great portion sizes. There are lots of snack options, warm food like hot pockets, oatmeal cups and ramen cups, and an abundance of different drinks, including fruity syrup flavours and a wide variety of sugar free syrups. The barista was super nice, warm, bubbly, and knowledgeable, and the owner was incredibly kind and helpful, obviously caring about quality service. The walk-up counter was spotless, and the inside was clean and organized. A cute little spot, highly recommended.

We must have happened upon this place when there was only one person working and it was very early in her tenure there. She was incredibly sweet but she clearly was reading drink recipes to make orders and the two hot chocolates that 2 of us ordered were mostly water. The two coffees were good, though. And like I said, she was very nice. Walk up counter on the street is nice. They have a little seating area outside (and more inside apparently).
Small but very cute. We tried unique, fun coffee & cold drink. Very cool. The venison breakfast sandwich was great too.
We were staying at the hotel and got snacks, a plain coffee and baked goods from this little cafe.

It’s a little out of the way considering it’s in the hotel on the ground level, and it’s a little small, if there’s 4-5 people in it can be a tight squeeze! There isn’t much space to sit, it’s more of a grab and go style of place.
