Great food at a great price considering the economy. The nostalgic decor is awesome. As an Alaskan who just came home after 30 years away it's great to see some embrace what make us uniquely Alaska!!
Our meal was good and the service was too. The atmosphere left a little to be desired between. It was extremely loud, between the customers behaving like they were out a club instead of lunch, the music, and the loud speaker it was difficult to have a conversation much less enjoy your meal.

This classic Alaskan history heavy, burger stop has arguably the best burgers in town only to be rivaled by their milkshakes and atmosphere. The rustic interfering has more history than some museums and a beautiful creek view.
If you are new and want the full experience I would highly recommend a burger, a milkshake and the house made onion petals.
