“I had a truly delicious meal at Umami. I ordered the fried tofu with fish sauce and the fried rice with ribeye steak. Everything was fantastic, especially the green sauce that accompanies the fried tofu. This green sauce is made from cilantro, jalapeño, and a type of fruit that adds a touch of sweetness; it is not spicy. I recommend asking for it on the side, as it creates a unique flavor when paired with the steak. This experience really highlights why the restaurant is named Umami!“

“What really had this place is the service. The service was very top tier compared to the other korean restaurants here in Anchorage. Very friendly and inviting. The food was good too. Thought it was weird that it was frozen but it worked for the BBQ grill. The right amount of side dishes were there as well. The atmosphere was almost. Just needs to feel more kdrama like when entering haha.“

“This place never disappoint! Very friendly service. The 2 teen cashiers to fight were super nice and quick.We come here all the time, but my husband is the one who always orders. My cashier didn't hesitate to repeat what is included in the half and half. I was able to order really quick and they even delivered it to my car because they close at 830. I came in at 8pm. This would be a place I check all the boxes. Quick, great customer service, and yummy food!“

“Memorial Day, 2025. What better than BBQ?!! We had 4 adults to feed. We ordered: Whole rack Cowboy fries Baked beans (8oz) Cole slaw (8oz) Just right! And, man, was that stuff good😏 Best ribs in town since Texas BBQ shut down!“

“I love this place! The food is always fresh and yummy! Salad is always crispy! Nothing worse than going into a buffet and seeing tables with 6-7 plates piled high with mounds of food on them. For $20 ppl should be charged per weight of food eaten/not eaten. I was appalled at the utter waste and am so glad they are charging extra now. Its the only way small restaurants can afford to stay in business. Love Ding How“

“It was at dimond, I usually go to the one on Tudor this one is just as good but I like the Tudor atmosphere because it's not too crowded when I usually go, it's spacious and the vibe from there is just amazing, the food incredible“
