Beans cafe accepts covid money on the backs of homeless people to house them at hotels such as Guesthouse, to "quarantine" those people who may or may not have covid to begin with, then kick them out

Recently worked for this organization, thought it was great until I caught one of the managers driving around drunk in the parking lot. After that she harrassed me at work relentlessly and eventually got me fired. Tried to speak to the other managers about it but have basically been ignored. I guess they would rather have a drunk manager running clients over in the parking lot with her kid in the car than an osha safety certified fire fighter/emt medical assistant trained navy shipyard berring sea first responder like me on the floor doing my job. Her name is Fua by the way she could barely walk barely talk and was driving around with her kid in the car. Could have killed herself her kid a client a staff member or another motorist, but safety doesn't matter to beans cafe, politics matters.

Work there for a year.Turned out to be a dead-end job. Irish the head of security pulled a taser on me for no reason. I received no raise or promotion. Definitely not the best place to work.

To @Allixander Lanier,My friend is doing a school report on this place -Bean's Cafe, Anchorage Alaska- and would like to know,What flavor of gum does this place smell like? We all know what piss smells like, but gum has many flavors, such as, mint, bubblegum, and others. Please reply as soon as possible, my friend needs to get this assignment done.-Thank you.

For many years my father Frank Guertin would come to Beans Cafe. This Cafe fed him,suppled clothes for him,mail services for him and at times spiritually fed him. I called often over these years as a child to locate him I worried about him because he did not want to be part of this Society he would not even keep a phone on him even when he was court-ordered I would call Beans Cafe as early as 11 years old to look for my father they found him everytime and I could talk to him. I meet him one time in my life.To this day I do not know if he's alive or has passed. Because Beans Cafe provided these services a little girl was able to find her father.Iam 48 now. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU.
The food is okay as of now at the Sullivan Arena. They had gross breakfasts. Moldy cereal. Stale, hard donuts. The way you can improve your company. Is by offering alcohol & drug free ( includes marijuana ) treatment classes. That's the only way to help these homeless addicts out because they're so use to free stuff. Free food and such. Help these poor people out by offering them a chance at alcohol & drug free treatment programs. Otherwise, you're continually supporting addicts without improving them to move forward and on with their important lives.

I have been subjected to sleep on a cot that was urinated on by one of the former clients who used it without any bedding to provide a barrier between my bareskin and this unsanitary cot. For the past three days since I have been here the staff have refused to provide bedding me, not even a sheet. So, not only am I putting my health at risk sleeping bare skin on an unsanitary cot I am also freezing at night as my cot is near the door/entrance. I have been told they have bedding but no one is washing it so I am left DURING A PANDEMIC in an unsanitary situation that could be prevented by someone washinga load of bedding. This is undignified and a reckless display of disregard for my health at that during a pandemic. This is unacceptable and foul. Why can't your staff wash one load of bedding so new guest can have a blanket and some type or barrier between their bare skin and the reused dirty cots? My cot reeks of urine and you think it is okay for me to sleep bareskin on a urine stained cot. It isn't my urine on the cot. Do your donors and the public know you run this place like this?

I showed up to the sullivan arena looking for a place to get help and the staff has done everything to help me get back on my feet. Darryl is a lead here and there is not one reasonable request that he will deny you. Really friendly staff that takes your situation very seriously. I could go on and on about the great food,safe living space,and the great clothes they hand out if you need some but, thanks to Bean's staff I got back in the workforce after only being here for 2 weeks. Thank you for everything Beans Cafe I will never forget the passion you guys have showed for the homeless population!
