“I go to Canes pretty often and they used to give bags when you order a lot, but they do not do that anymore apparently. Now when I go even when I order three-four things, I don’t get a bag and they just stack it and give it to me. It’s very inconvenient. Even the kids meals are not in a bag.“

“Sophia was a great waitress. I came here with my two kids and my son's friend. We all got different thing. My son went with chicken wings, I got the jumbo burger, my daughter got fries, and the friend got the fried chicken meal. Everyone raved over the fries and the chicken. I also got the corn fritters, which were great. The atmosphere is like an old fashion diner. The restaurant smelled clean, and that is not a given for diners in Alaska. I often gauge a place on if their ventilation is clean, and theirs was. Not an easy feet in a diner - so kudos to them. Everything came out very quickly. I was quite impressed with the timeliness and service.“

“I like their food,even tho they have a small selection, their selection is good. Most of all, their ice is the BEST. I'll wait in line for 40mins just for their ice if I had to,lol. I've gotten ice from pretty much everywhere and unless there's a place I just so happened to miss they have the best ice. Providence hospital is second best and then the holiday gas stations. Oh and I can't write this and not mention their texas toast. That's something else I'll wait and go only there only for.“

“Food was hot and fresh, and came out quickly. Receipt says "Cashier: Geraldine", but it was a man who helped me. On 09/23/2024 Either way, he was exceptionally helpful and nice, and made the atmosphere great. Helped me choose what to order and get the best deal on it. Would come back again just for the quality service he provided.

Parking: Spots in front of the restaurant somewhat difficult to get into with the drive-thru right behind, but plenty of spots behind on the other side easy to get to.“
