Whether it be karaoke, great musicians, or even arcade time or pool shooting, Koot's has it all. Sure, this place might have had a reputation in the past, but nowadays it's a fantastic place to be with lots to do and see and vibe with.
It wasn't terribly loud for a Thursday night, and I also felt happy knowing that the staff is mindful and free to speak for their safety, and further, the safety of others. Nothing was wrong, but it was heartening to know that someone is keeping an eye on things. Loved it, they have an arcade, and some people outside played that beanbag game.

Went here on recommendations from some locals I met at Jackie’s (favorite breakfast spot). I guess I missed Abbalaska, who sounded like they would be a great group to hear. I went and Vintage Retro was playing and I thought they were a great cover band with a great range. Kelly was the bartender and she was amazing. Let me sample an Alaskan stout, which I liked and drank the rest of the night. She also directed me to the other bars, within Koots, so I could see them (first time...
