Dave & Buster's Anchorage

This is a go to place for me whenever I visit the big city of Anchorage. The staff is friendly and the food is tasty. My only quibble is why on earth would you serve Atlantic salmon in Alaska?!

We hosted a birthday party for our daughter. The staff were extremely accommodating and the food and atmosphere were perfect for our event.

We were able to get our table right away. When we received our food : the wings and fries came out first(it was ordered as a meal) we waited another 10min. Before the rest of the food came out are mozzarella appetizer came out on the second round with the rest of the food. The chicken wings that we received was only fried, but none of the seasoning was on there we ordered lemon pepper, it was just very lightly salted. Our chicken on the chicken sandwiches were overcooked, which made it very hard to bite into and it was dry the outside like I said was hard to get into .  the pasta we ordered was way spicy. The spice level was high and we typically like spicy food. The drinks- Tito‘s and cranberry was not good at all the cranberry juice almost tasted spoiled, and there was very little Tito's. That was in there. We did not have water we had to ask for water to come, and that was towards the ending of our meal . Our table was cleared 10 minutes into playing games and we did not have our drinks nor any takeout water, and our to go container was also thrown out . When we ordered our play cards, we ordered five unlimited cards , but it was not made obvious that there was limit on collecting tickets on these cards, nor was, I told when I purchased it .  Staff: our waiter, we could barely understand what he was saying, and he could barely understand us. Not sure if that is due to the noise level., the server who served our food, did not say one word to us, and did not let me know that the pasta bowl was hot before I reached and grabbed it. Overall, our experience was not good and also felt judged by the ticket person at the prize area as she was handed a stack of Dave & Buster's cards. We asked her to check the balance of each card if we had anything in it and if we're able to consolidate it to one card and she gave a smirk and kind of shook her head a little as if to say why I have so many cards. If I am able to request my money back from there, I would.

The burger I had tasted like grease with a side of flavor. The chicken tenders were okay but I wouldn't call them a meal. The server was great. The games, as always, was the highlight. We had a good date night just goofing off here. Don't look for a good meal but you can have a great time. The bar area is set as a sports bar. Lots of televisions in every direction. Some beers and a game would be a great time as well.

Don't bother getting anything to go. They WILL forget your drink 100% of the time. It seems like completing an order is too intellectually challenging for the employees here.

I was so frustrating to get one specific card on Star Trek arcade machine to all collectible cards. My husband tried to talk to one associate and he referred to somebody who work there. They are so helpful!
