Great food. Great service. Great owners. Needed dinner before our flight and found this. Delicious!!

Absolutely AMAZING family owned and operated spot in Anchorage. Fresh food, KILLER queso espinaca, homemade tortillas, and spicy homemade salsa for those with taste buds. We were here just off a cruise and missing seasoning and they delivered! These texans were impressed. Even more than the food though is that they welcomed 2 strangers like family. Sweetest owners ever! If you're in Anchorage, please stop in and be wowed like we were!

Food was absolutely delicious, BUT we got rushed, the lady basically forced us to order our food after we asked for more time because she said it was really busy but there were only 4 tables and 3 servers, then when we ordered she was talking over us and said that we were getting sour cream for both dinners but charged us for it and never said that it was extra, she also told us to pay up front when everyone else at other tables got to give their cards to her at the tables, we felt like she wasn’t giving us the same attention as the other tables which is fine but we feel as though she did that since we look young and there were only two of us. She went and joked around with other tables but when it came to us, it was very quick and brief, it was like we were in inconvenience to her.

Very disappointed. Have been here multiple times and always ordered the same thing. One combination meal for two (two of us split it because neither can eat a full order). The dinner had less then half of the amount of rice and beans then usual. It shouldn't matter if one person or two are eating it. For the price you should still get the normal portion of food. We won't go back.

Great place! The complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and delicious, and the spinach dip was like a creamy spinach queso—so good. I had the dinner asada burrito, and everything was flavorful and well done. The rice and beans were tasty too. The service was fantastic from start to finish, with everyone being friendly and all smiles. We’d definitely come back!

Just ate at El Dorado after landing in Anchorage. Cute place and good food, but the real star making our meal wonderful was our server, Carmen! She is the sweetest, most delightful and charming person and we all loved interacting with her! Thank you for making our first memory of Anchorage so fun!

We felt like family here. The food was delicious. The service through made the meal. Never went without drinks, food was quick, everything was correct. She made us feel like we were at her own lunch table. If I am back in Alaska again I will come back here.

I have found few places in Alaska that remind me of Mexican Restaurants in the Southwest. El Dorado is certainly one of them. This family run restaurant, not only has amazing food, but the staff is kind and fun. The atmosphere is always upbeat. Highly recommend.

The best Hispanic food alaska has to offer. Super authentic, great food, drinks and atmosphere. This is family owned and very well owned. This is going to be our go to spot to eat. Highly recommend the birria here. The most authentic I have ever had.
