“Very clean, cute restaurant, with delicious food. As an appetizer we got the pork fried eggrolls, everyone liked them. For dinner I ordered the Kobe cheeseburger add jalepenos (yum) and my parents got the scallops mac n cheese, they said it was the best they’ve ever had. My server had a warm personality and no ones drink got below 1/2 ways before being refilled.“

“Terrible service, brought friends from outside of state and it was embarrassing after telling them what a "great" place. Halibut was over cooked and too much batter. The waitress made a RUDE remark about a server who dropped a plate of food. We were basically ignored. It wasn't even busy, mid-afternoon. SORRY, I still have gift cards to spend because I don't really want to go back. disappointed 😞“

“Neat bakery & retail space in Spenard. I come here to get my Franz buttermilk toaster biscuits cuz they are cheaper than other grocery stores if they even have them. It's evil how the aisle where you enter the store is all Donuts! Just daring you to get to the next aisle without grabbing something! Get the reusable shopping bag, it's really big and has a fun animal circus cookie on the bag! Sometimes wish they had a little more variety but then I would just spend more. A nice little weekend stop.“

“Today, I helped my dear friend, Sylvia, celebrate her 100th birthday at Eva's Cupcakery. Yesterday, Eva and I coordinated details via telephone so that when we arrived today Eva had it all planned. Excellent cupcakes, gracious hospitality, blue bird sky day in Anchorage, and a 100th birthday for a woman who gave and gives so much to Alaska. How could it possibly be better than that? Thank you, Eva!“

“It’s been years since I had Uncle Joe’s and the pizza was delivered faster than expected. The wings are meaty not greasy, the pizza was very evenly topped and it tasted great!“

“Fun little place that is squared away on King Street in industrial park. But don't let the outdoor decor fool ya, the tasting room is fun little place. With a nice mix of drinks to choose from, brain games, cornhole and jenga to play while enjoying the drinks.

Server Lolita was charming, funny and engaging.“

“Jewel Lake Uncle Joe's is my go-to location for pizza. I love the breadsticks. I switched it up to the Red, White, and Green vegan pizza; it is delicious!!!! The employees here are the best. They are friendly and make your order quickly. I order from here at least once a week.“

“When they were under construction at one point in time, they had a sheet rock wall I think it was and asked customers to sign it. This memory popped up on my pictures from a while back when I made my mark that I was here during the construction. Thought it would be cool to add everyone else's memories to their wall as a piece of art of the people of this city.“

The service was VERY prompt. As soon as we sat down, our waitress picked up our appetizer and drink order. They checked on us periodically to see if we needed anything after we received our food, and refilled drinks as needed throughout our meal. Our waitress was very friendly and gave us service with a smile every time, even when our kids got rambunctious towards the end of the meal.

The pizza was EXCELLENT! We ordered the Saint Nick, some Joe's Cheesey Bread, and their Firecracker bread. All had amazing flavor and PERFECT crusts. We also ordered the 10 piece HOT Wings and they were cooked and sauced to perfection. Everything was absolutely delicious!😋

Honestly, this place rivals moose's tooth, and was like a hidden gem! We sat down as soon as we entered, and on a Friday night at 6pm that's almost unheard of! The kitchen was busy, I'm assuming from takeout orders, but we still received our appetizers and pizza promptly. We will DEFINITELY be returning!🤩

Kid-friendliness: This place was very kid-friendly. We have small children, 2yrs and 5yrs, and they got a little antsy by the end of the meal, but no one even batted an eyelash about the fact that they wanted to dance next to the table to the music. 😅 Great family-friendly atmosphere.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to navigate, and the dine in option has lots of room to move a wheelchair through to get seated at a table easily.“
