Hands down the best place for brunch/lunch during our short visit to Anchorage. The smoked salmon soup was phenomenal, so were the sandwiches we tried. This bakery is very similar to our go-to place Bloom Bake Shop (Madison, WI) in the mainland with the same philosophy of using locally produced ingredients. Food and drink options in Alaska were somewhat disappointing in general, but this Bakeshop is definitely an exception. A must try!
One of my favorite spots. It feels like a local secret, it’s tucked away in the Airport Heights neighborhood with a little garden in the back to relax in while drinking your coffee, eating your nibbles.There’s even a kids little library!

Fantastic, friendly service! Warm, inviting atmosphere, though small. Each bite was on point! The salted carmel tart was a symphony of flavors!! The crunchy pecan crust balanced well with the gooey house-made carmel and decadent chocolate. I appreciated the touch of fancy Maldon pyramid-shaped salt flakes on top.
