Great food, but not great service. The environment felt like no one wanted to be at work. Shout out to the blonde girl who was working around noon on 9/14 because she seemed to make an effort to greet customers and lighten the mood! It’s hard to be the positive one when your coworkers seem to be dragging.

We first tried their bread after completing the Anchorage Run Festival Marathon. They were giving out free slices of bread and butter (cinnamon raisin) and it was amazing! We found them on our way out of town and stopped for breakfast. The breakfast baguettes are amazing. Oh, and the caramel roll with nuts. So great!

Highly recommend.

We were looking for a quiet place to eat some lunch and get some work done. House of Bread was perfect. With a sunny patio to sit on, a filling sandwich, yummy baked treats, and hot coffee, we enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back.

Would have better photos, but it was too delicious to delay eating...
