“I’ve been craving a bento box for a couple weeks now did some research of different restaurants in Anchorage and found this place. I went in to check it out and look at their menu. First off one of the cleanest places I’ve seen, very nice and helpful staff especially with placing a to go order. Omg the portion sizes for a Mongolian beef bento box was enough to feed two people and reasonably priced. Definitely my go to bento box place.“

“I’m not a fan of sushi but ReHaru is where my granddaughter wanted to go for her birthday lunch. The atmosphere was delightful and the food was excellent! Our server was full of personality and provided excellent service which earned him a very generous tip (60%). I highly recommend this restaurant as one of the best in Anchorage!“

“I actually liked eating this restaurant cause not only I watch the anime Naruto, I also liked their Naruto ramen there. They also have Japanese movie posters inside the restaurant which makes it look nice, and they also have manga to read there not just Naruto. I would recommend eating there if you’re at least a food lover for ramen! 🙂“

“Stumbled upon Arigato by accident staying at a motel down the street while I overnight in Anchorage on my way to work for 5 weeks up in the Northwest part of the state. I was HUNGRY when I came in and ordered several dishes-edamame, spicy tofu, tempura Halibut (seasonal), and two sushi rolls. The owner who was waiting on me also surprised me with a delicious little soup and salad to start the feast. Every dish was one more delicious than the next. The edamame was piping hot with perfect amount of salt, spicy tofu 10/10, the tempura halibut had so much flavor and dipped in a little splash of soy sauce was so tasty, and the sushi rolls were fresh and flavorful and delicious. I will get a ride across town to eat here again if work lodges me at a different hotel on my next trip in October-I will absolutely be back! And yes, I ate it ALL!! This place is an absolute gem.“

“Visiting Anchorage and was craving for some Korean food and saw this restaurant in the same Plaza mall, next to the Korean restaurant. Had a change of heart and gave Fukumaru a shot... Had the Spicy Pork combo, Spicy teriyaki and the Chicken Udon. Took about 15 minutes for them to prepare the food... Everything came out super Fresh!! The spicy pork they serve is the traditional Korean spicy pork BBQ, which was surprisingly pleasing to the pallet... The spicy teriyaki chicken had the similar flavor as the pork and the UDON was just a soyu based broth.... Decent overall experience 👌!“

“Ryuu Bowl is AMAZING! The Roll My Way platter is a steal. 7 rolls for $90! Just don’t recommend if you’re in a hurry because while they are phenomenal - they are slooooowwwwww! Perfection takes time! 10/10 would recommend 💗“

“From the moment we walked in, the energy felt just right—warm, relaxed, and inviting. We ordered the sushi boat to share, and wow, it was a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. Every bite was fresh and flavorful. The hot sake hit the spot!“

“Tucked away in a cozy little spot, this restaurant instantly transported me to the backstreets of Japan, like stumbling upon your favorite hidden local gem. Sam, the owner, was a one-man show, effortlessly taking on the roles of host, chef, and entertainer. You can tell he’s got years of experience in the way he skillfully preps and cooks each dish, with an attention to detail and care in what he's going to present.
Since seafood is their specialty, we went all in trying multiple types of sashimi and grilled fish. The sashimi was fresh and bursting with clean, delicate flavors, while the cooked dishes were delicious as well and seasoned to perfection.
Sam’s personality made the whole experience even better. He made us feel like regulars. Between the atmosphere, the outstanding food, and Sam’s hospitality, this place easily earns a spot on our “must return” list.“

“Had a few minutes to spare before catching a flight to Fairbanks and I'm glad this was the spot next to my gate! Had Salmon, Yellowtail, and Scallop Nigiri and was amazed. Great quality and absolutely delicious!
The sushi chef served a spicy mixed Poke as well that I'm going to be wishing I could find closer to home.
Trust this airport Sushi without a second doubt!“

“Overall great, only one person working/cooking when arrived, but went in around 3.30-4pm. Another person showed up around 5pm. The gyoza was fresh tasted very good. Sushi had no complaints, salmon, tuna and yellowtail tasted as it should. Good flavor, and was spicy. Wasabi was very good, I believe to be more a more closer to plant Wasabi. Overall was very good, I'd highly recommend giving it a shot. Tons of different fish rolls to try!“
