This is not a fancy place, this is not a high end establishment, but it is a place you can guarantee the food is always good. They serve white rice, which makes the chicken fried steak, spam, and burger patties an any time meal.
We stopped into Leroy's Family Restaurant and were seated right away, which is always a good start. The woman working was really friendly and on top of things, and you could tell she’s been there awhile, she was greeting regulars by name as they walked in, which is always something I love to see in a local spot.

Leroy’s was recommended by a local, if you are in Anchorage I recommend trying Leroy’s the steak was cooked perfectly the way I like it and was a great price, it was a very welcoming environment with great service.
