First off, I am usually a macaron hater and these macarons were AMAZING. I found myself wanting to eat every single flavor we got. Normally I just take a bite and stop, then leave half in the box because other bakeries are wayyy too sweet. Marie Kreez macarons are the perfect combo of Filipino "not too sweet" mixed with the best Asian and American flavors! We got Taro, Ube, Thai Tea, Birthday Cake, Fruity Pebbles, and Cookies & Cream. I had a hard time picking my favorite flavor but I think it came down to the Taro and the Ube. I am half Filipino myself and these flavors were the least sweet, but still absolutely perfect. One thing I love about this bakery is their buttercream is SOFT and buttery! Other bakeries usually have this horrible dry, stiff, grainy buttercream--not Marie Kreez. I found myself wanting more of the frosting--and I am a frosting hater through and through. The macaron shell themselves are perfectly baked; the couple who owns the bakery has the timing down exactly. It is both soft and slightly chewy, and not overly sweet. As someone who hates macarons, I give their macarons a 20/10.
As for the couple who owns the bakery--they are the sweetest people! They were so friendly and kind. I highly recommend you go to Marie Kreez, grab a calamansi juice from the cooler and some Filipino snacks while you're at it. They are well deserving of your business. I will be back for sure.

Super organized and clean, needless to say friendly. Very small and open operation, owner was actively making some new confections as I was getting my order together.Got the goods home and gave the wife a sample and she couldn't stop saying nice things. Definitely not a place to sleep on, one of the few options in the mall worth making the trip for!Maraming salamat!

This is the best place for cookies- One day while out and about I ducked into this little business and got a cookie and now this is a staple treat to buy before leaving Anchorage, I will be returning to buy more cookies. I got 2 dozen for $60.00 totally worth it.The flavors of each cookie are spot on, my favorite is the caramel.

My husband and I stopped by after seeing it a few times visiting the mall. We just moved here and we've been missing macarons from our towns, and we found our new favorite spot in Marie-Kreez! The fruit flavored macarons taste like ACTUAL fruit, not fake candy fruit flavoring, we'll definitely be back!

The macarons here are seriously DELICIOUS. I’ve never been too big of a fan of sweet caribou because theirs are too wet but these are the best in town hands down. The pumpkin pie one is incredible if you can get your hands on it.
