McDonald's in Anchorage

“Food was ok, service was ok, bathrooms were clean. They even brought us our food without asking for a tip. That type of service is seemingly disappearing in an age where they ask for a tip at the register for doing nothing. I would like to know the difference between the big Mac and the Denali burger though. That could be explained in the menu.“

“I normally don't like fast food places because they don't pay well the employees and thus they hire people that have no qualifications or goodwill to work, but this specific mc Donalds price me something different. The employees seemed to like it there and the product they have me was what would be expected. It was very good“

“Getting easier now days, there order in the app option is great and time saving. I just give them the code from the app and get to skip the pay window pick up and go. Only thing that would be better is if everyone else did the same thing. The line would move much much faster if everyone ordered and paid before they got there. The new deals and value menu helps save money so ill definitely be going back soon“

“First time in a McDonald's in the US, and second time to this one. While the menu items are the same, this one had one of the best service's ever. Also every item I had was freshly made and hot. XL fries were actually XL fries and full, and not like many places in Europe where the put like 60% of the bag. But yeah, the service was better than most places I've visited.“

Kid-friendliness: Clean and had helmets for little jimmy in every bathroom I was extremely impressed for being smack dab in the middle of the ever increasing infamy we all know and love the one the only spunyard of Anchorage your very own Spenard AK.“

“I had the best drive-thru experience of my life at this McDonald’s. Whoever the drive thru staff on 2024-04-28, at 6-7pm, was incredibly kind and professional—genuinely a cut above the rest. As soon as I pulled up, I was greeted with a cheerful voice. My order was taken with precision and confirmed clearly, and the team moved with impressive efficiency.
At the pickup window, I was again met with a smile and a courteous attitude. Everything was hot, fresh, and exactly as I asked, and it was an entire family order. It’s RARE to come across a fast food team that operates with this level service. You can tell the management here sets a high standard and the team didn’t have the typical “I’m over this place” attitude. I’ll absolutely go out of my way to return to this location..“

“I got to witness a great manager/employee interaction. The employee moved to a new location. They came in to say high to their old manager who was sad to lose a good worker. The employee was actually coming in to say they can still do one day a week at the old location. It was super cute and nice to see.“

“Super friendly people and fast service on the go. What a team of professionals that work together efficiently and in a caring manner. Joseph is always kind and greets me with a smile in the mornings, a great way to start my day when I am on the go.“

“I stop by this McDonald’s once or twice a week, and one of the main reasons I keep coming back is Logan. He’s usually the one on the speaker when I pull up to the drive-thru, and he always makes the experience more enjoyable. His sense of humor and positive attitude genuinely brighten our day. My family and I actually look forward to hearing his jokes and the fun, personalized touch he brings to each visit. It's rare to find that kind of energy at a fast food drive-thru, Logan is a gem!“

“We had a good experience on 3/24/25 @ around 3:30, with fast and friendly service. The manager was present at all times, and the staff was getting orders out quickly. The restaurant was one of the cleanest I've seen, every table that wasn't occupied was clean. Bathrooms were clean as well. This will be our new McDonald's spot in Anchorage from now on.“

“I was going to comment the place wasn't very clean, but right after dropping off my food they started addressing the situation. The food itself was pretty good and everything I special ordered was correct. Hot fries were definitely a bonus these days, so well done for that. They also appropriately filled the fry containers like they used to, so it was a pretty good experience.“

“I like the drive thru. Food is good, reliable, fast, perfect for those of us working in the mud all day, too dirty to dine in. The dollar menu is a great value. I really appreciate these folks being there for us. There are always people telling you negative stuff online about fast food chains such as this, but they are in business because they have a winning combo of reasonable prices, efficient service, and food that gets the job done. So we can get back to work. That's important to me. Thanks for the great coffee prices, too. Coffee is very good, as well. Your closest competitor has really bad coffee by comparison.“

“I ate an egg and sausage cheese McGriddle from here one stormy morning when the weather was just not cutting it (normally, can pretty much subsist on sunshine alone. At least 'til lunch.)
The lady who delivered the order to the window was sweet and very smiley, seemingly simple touch but really nice on an un-fun morning.
(As for the McGriddle, I may or may not order it again. I had thought it would have english muffin holding the eggy sausage goodness inside but I was wrong. It was lightly sweet pancake-like things, which were a touch rubber sole-ish along the outside edges and a tad greasy on the lips. But did I finish it? Yes. Yes I did.)“

“The staff here is very friendly and works fast, I dropped a cup once and they immediately came and helped me. The food here is like any other McDonalds, so average. They DO have a play area for kids which is great. The environment is clean and friendly. Overall this McDonalds does get a 5/5, although the bar is quite low because again, this is McDonalds.“
