“My son has end stage renal disease and he is on Medicaid on the waiver program. The waiver program allows him to get meals delivered at home. Alaska Dinner Factory is an independent restaurant who provides these meals.

So they deliver my son‘s meals for the day at about 6:30 in the morning and they leave it our outside door handle. They deliver five days a week with two of those days, including the meals for the two days they didn’t deliver, so for that day, my son gets two meals instead of just one.

My son has high protein needs due to the Dialysis and so they sent him a high protein meal.

I want to tell you we are so happy we signed up for this program and every day when my son’s meals arrive I get to see my 44-year-old son face light up with happiness. He loves the meals and he looks forward to them.

As I heat the meals up in the microwave and bring them to him (he is bedridden) sometimes I taste the food to make sure it is hot enough and I will tell you the food is excellent and the portion sizes are extremely generous.

Also, these meals include very expensive ingredients like steak, beef short ribs, cod, and with large portion sizes.

Anyway, my son has been getting these meals for the last two weeks and I have to tell you this food is so good and so tasty and how they can make it so tasty and it be low sodium at the same time I do not know,
but my son is overjoyed with these meals and I am overjoyed to see my son so happy. So thank you Alaska Dinner Factory great job and I met your courier the other day and he is a very nice guy too.“

Everything is so delicious and downright special. I’m happy to cook dinner knowing everything is prepared. I just have to cook it per the simple instructions. Now, have things gone perfectly according to plan ever week with the deliveries? No but who cares when the food is so amazing. Chef Alex takes good care of us and hasn’t let us down with his brilliant menus.“
