The sandwiches are great here. But I ordered a side of latkes and when Mo brought them out, one was a beautiful golden brown and the other two were black. When I complained about them being burned Mo said that that was the way they were supposed to be. If that were true, then the gorgeous golden brown was, by his standards, undercooked. Mo, you can't have it both ways. He did take them off the bill.
Good sandwiches. Very personable employees (one of them even bowed to me). I like that they accommodated my request to place a pickle spear in my sandwich -which was nice. I've only been there a couple times now, but each time that I've been in it's been nice and quiet. The man behind the counter even wished me a good day by name as I walked out. Little things like that can endear you to a place.
Had their sandwich of the day which was pastrami, which is what I was craving. The best pastrami in town. Definitely a must try for pastrami. Will be back to try their other foods items.
