The food was ok but way too expensive for what I got my cup was dirty twice and they gave their self a tip and charged my card twice yesterday i paid $39 in cash then I paid 24.37 on card today they took $44.00 off my card this is ridiculous

Cute little place, makes me think more homey, light fixtures are all different but so cute. I really liked the upbeat friendly atmosphere that all the servers brought. They were very friendly, helpful with menu and so positive. Food was delicious and couldn't eat all of it. My hubby doesn't always like to take left overs, but he did this time. We'll definitely go back, I'd say try it

Walking into Palmeira after a long, cold, gray spring was like entering a heavenly tropical planet. The clusters of glowing wicker lights interspersed with vibrant green plants! The handsome green leather chairs and emerald napkins! The accents of bright white and soft pink! I wanted to move in. And then we tried the food. 😍 We had to be piggy and order three things-there was no other option. First came the nachos. Oh my. The chips were sprinkled with a chili seasoning and piled high with special cheesy sauce, crisp veggies and mounds of avocados. We have sampled A LOT of nachos, but two weeks after our visit we are still talking about these. Next came the birria tacos, served with dipping sauce and chili oil, and the avocado salad. I did not expect the salad to be that huge and overflowing with fresh greens, veg and more avocados. So dreamy. The birria tacos were also delicious. These two little piggies had to ask for to go boxes, which allowed for another full meal. An additional highlight of Palmeira was the outstanding service by Denilson (sp?). He was on point and kindly allowed us to practice our Spanish. Having a gentleman from Jalisco adds authenticity to the experience!

A group of us ate dinner there last night, great place, wide variety on menu, food was excellent , great atmosphere, quiet so you could hear and talk to everyone at the table, staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

If you are considering going here at all, just stop thinking about it and go. The food is fantastic and unique. It has delightful atmosphere, but it works well to go as well. An incredible new spot for Anchorage.
Goodness gracious. The service, the atmosphere, and the food was all absolutely perfect. The Huevos Escondido was amazing with texture and flavor (got my eggs over medium) and the torta was super tasty, a sandwich in a bowl surprised us but the oil/sauce soaking into the bread on the bottom really brought it all together. Our waitress was so friendly and fanominal recommendations from drinks to desserts.

Food was delicious and the atmosphere was sooooo welcoming. It felt like a little escape from Alaska lol. Def recommend if u want a Latino modern type meal. Both meals my boyfriend and I got were delicious and the creme brûlée was the cherry on top. So good!!! Never had piña colada crème brûlée and it did not disappoint

The building needs some maintenance and upkeep along with some of the furnishings. Our party felt the prices were a bit high but the food was interesting and flavorful. The Staff was friendly and attentive and we will return.
