Wonderful experience here and will be back! The food was exceptional, the decor and ambiance makes it a rare find in Anchorage, and the staff were warm, helpful and happy.
amazing food and service. Will return
My friend and I stopped here for lunch and we both absolutely loved this restaurant! Everything was on point from the atmosphere, unique and beautiful lighting, service, and food. On top of everything being delicious, our waiter brought me out warm honey and lemon because I had lost my voice. You just can't find this type of care and service anymore. I highly recommend Palmeira Tropical Fusion and will be returning in short order to eat there again!

PAPAYA was π₯
πThe queens brought the heat to Palmeira in Anchorage. It felt like a tropical summer in the middle of a cold winter in Alaska.
It was my first time attending PAPAYA, a drag, burlesque, and Latin-fusion dinner. And I LOVED it. π
The curated menu was perfect. My table got the red ceviche (yum!), shrimp tacos, beef cheeck tacos, nachos, and quite a few drinks. π
My party was lucky enough to sit at the table in the centered back which gave the best view of all performances. Ivanna Kischacok was an amazing host. π Happy Birthday (again) Venus Vixen! ππΎπ Krustyna Clown, Beyquance, and Seya Siren were absolutely incredible. π€©
Whether you are celebrating a birthday, have a bachelorette or bachelor party, or simply want to have a great time and enjoy delicious food, you must get your tickets to the next PAPAYA. Trust me, coming from someone visiting from South Florida, PAPAYA felt like home. It was a good damn drag show. ππ

Came here for a work lunch with my company. The food was fresh and delicious. I loved the Palmeira smoothie! So refreshing! The ambiance and decor was really cool too. Will definitely be back again especially to try the cocktails

Ordered the shrimp chilaquiles and the shrimp was SO tiny and they chopped it up. I had to really dig around the plate to find them under the soupy mess of sauce and chips. There was probably less than three tiny shrimps total based on the number of choppies up pieces I ate. Would not recommend this dish. Not worth the value youβre basically paying $28 for chips and dip.
The saving grace was the horchata and amazing staff/service.

The Chilaquiles was a disappointment. Don't know why. I heard many locals talk about how great it is and it was even recommended at one of the local magazines that I picked up at the airport but nope, it's terrible
The Tortilla Soup and Panini is great though. I really recommend it
